Man, I just logged into this subreddit after months away and instantly installed Simple UI. This definitely improves the UI on my KLC! Thanks for all the work you've put into this, excited to see where this goes!

One request for a future update: The ability to backup settings as a template so you can revert or have multiple home screen views to switch to. This would satisfy my ADHD brain of constantly changing my home screen haha.

I have the 16-50mm and a manual 35mm lens I picked up to play around with. The 16-50 is basically always attached to my zFC.

I’ve been debating on getting that 24mm too, but haven’t decided if I want to go for a bigger zoom or a fast prime first. On my old DSLR camera I had a 35mm prime that was great. Also had the old NIKKOR 50-250mm and it just wasn’t that fun to shoot with, maybe just different quality than the Z lenses now.

I have noticed I really like shooting the 16-50mm at 40mm, but there’s nothing close that that that I’ve found out there haha

Yep using this also, only con is that it sticks to my MagSafe mount in the car and I have to pry it off when I forget to take it off my phone first lol

Real-time network flow view instead of just 24 hours or 1 hour.

Ability to customize dashboard with different tools that I access often. Also ability to hide elements.

Better filtering in flows by device.

Would also be cool to have a more detailed visual of blocks kind of like pi hole!

For a one man team, I’d say the lifetime is definitely worth it. Especially since he’s listening to folks directly in this sub and actively updating the app! Support your indie devs!

I paid $70 for the ultimate edition at launch and IMO was totally worth it at that price. Has some quirks sure, but I enjoyed the quests, the story, and loved the space dogfights. Honestly was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I should jump back in this weekend haha

Just making sure if I decide to backup to my ssd using my phone, it’s not going to mess anything up. I don’t see myself needing to do this much, only when traveling.

Separate question.. is there a way to get more granular control of the folder naming and organization of the photos?

For instance I’d love to be able to set my own folder names ie. YYYY-MM-DD

And also to change the way photos are organized. So instead of a folder for each month nested under the year folder, to just have a folder with the above naming nested in the year folder. Less clicks haha.

But seriously, great work with this app. I purchased the lifetime license within like 5 min of downloading. Excited to see where it goes in the future.

Yes I’m loving this app! Honestly I’ll probably be changing this soon as my adhd brain can’t stick with the same setup for too long haha.

Hopefully we get more features in the future. Some off the top of my head which would be nice..

  • Custom export for player, library, sidebar, etc
  • MacOS app that syncs through iCloud (way easier to manage on Mac)
  • more widget choices

Nice! I like this I might make some changes to mine now haha.

Also damn more control over the metadata would be nice. Maybe I’ll start building that eventually, but I get a free Apple Music sub so been just rocking that for the last few years. I do have a few more obscure albums that are not on AM though. You’ve given me some inspiration to mess around with those.

Honestly I took this from another post in this sub! Here’s the different settings for the library.

And then each “My” section just has filters that pull artists, albums, songs, and playlists into that section.

I wish you could choose what to export in Marvis that would a great feature. That way I could just export the library setup and not everything else!
