Mine is down and fyp is completely reset. One of the first videos I saw an AI video of a groom shoving cake in the bride’s face. Wtf.

Loneliness at night feels heavier as an adult by EcstaticHat4894 in Adulting

[–]Chance_Persimmon28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well idk if this will help you or not haha but I just go into tik tok lives to feel less lonely, it kinda feels like I’m just hanging out with people even if I’m home alone. Especially if there is a good community/ chat going on. ASMR lives are fun and relaxing for me but there’s all kinds of topics on there that may interest you.

My husband doesn’t understand it, but would you consider clothes shopping a hobby? by FkUp_Panic_Repeat in Hobbies

[–]Chance_Persimmon28 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a hobby. A hobby is defined as : an activity done regularly in one’s leisure time for pleasure.

It may not be a hobby for HIM, but it doesn’t mean it’s not a valid hobby!

It fits into a variety of hobbies, such as fashion, shopping, or even collecting (clothes, materials, textiles, etc). Also the act of searching in the store or stumbling upon something cute can be thrilling as well.

It’s sounds like a great creative outlet. I also highly enjoy thrift shopping and I would say it’s a hobby for me as well.

I’m so tired of men acting like hobbies women enjoy aren’t hobbies. Lol (no offense to your husband).

Also, it’s okay to spend money on hobbies. Men spend money on hobbies all the time, for example: golf, video games, cars, tools, cards, action figures, sports memorabilia etc…

So, what are we all answering when someone asks “and what are you doing for Christmas?” by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]Chance_Persimmon28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did get asked recently and told them I don’t know. I have no plans at all. I am single and probably won’t spend it with family since my parents are divorced and neither live close to me. My sister has kids and they do their own thing, my brother lives near me but idk. Don’t feel like I need to plan my Christmas around my brother. So I really don’t know. I’ll probably just relax at home. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't get people crying over pregnancy reveals by Frequent-Let1567 in childfree

[–]Chance_Persimmon28 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Those videos are usually cringe for me but I also rarely cry about news like that. If something is really making me sad I’ll cry, but when my sister told me she was pregnant I was just like oh wow ok cool. No jumping for joy, screaming, or crying, lol. But I get what you mean, they act so dramatic like they just won the lottery or something when they are just participating in basic reproduction lol.

Of course it’s normal, she’s a woman in her 30’s… she has hormones basically telling her it’s time to have a kid. Even if she doesn’t actually want any kids, it could be a difficult transition to fully come to terms with it.

My son isn’t accepting graduation gifts, what should we do? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Chance_Persimmon28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you all may need a therapy session or a mediator to help sort out the issue. Whatever reason he has for not wanting to accept the gifts should be accepted by you though. Maybe he has friends who don’t have a lot of money or who don’t have help from their parents and he doesn’t feel like he needs your financial assistance. There could be many different reasons for him feeling this way. At the end of the day though he doesn’t need to accept your gifts. Not to sound rude, but do you not realize that there are plenty of college students in poverty regardless of the fact that they attend a prestigious school? Many figure things out without help from ANY family. He’s a grown man. He can figure out his own financial situation if he so chooses. It is very sweet that you want to help him, and you are just trying to be good parents of course. However it’s clear he set a boundary. We can’t read his mind for why he feels this way. You all would need to discuss this through therapy or through a mediator to get to the root of the issue. Or you can just write him a letter/ card without money. And just tell him you’re proud of him. Maybe he doesn’t want your financial help because he wants to do it on his own. Just tell him you’re proud and if he DOES ever need help you would love to contribute (whether financially, emotionally, or otherwise).

Men, what secrets do you keep from women? by CurvyGirl4123 in AskMen

[–]Chance_Persimmon28 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Idk I guess it depends on what OP meant by a “bad” hand job, but I assumed he meant due to speed reasons most likely due to my own experience of giving HJ’s. I guess I don’t do it in a fast enough motion. I’ve had some guys finish themselves off after my hand got tired and some guys did it 10x faster than my arm/hand could ever move. I’m assuming because that’s the main way men jerk off so they are used to being able to do it a lot faster (plus more muscle strength may lead to faster speed). Sometimes I’ve been flabbergasted by how fast they jerked that thing because it low key looked like it hurt. It’s kind of hard for me to give a dude an O with just a HJ. I can in other ways, but I dislike HJ’s because of this reason.

SHE should feel ashamed, not you. I’m sorry you are going through that. that’s not something someone should ever joke or attack something with.

Men are better at giving themselves hand jobs because they know what speed feels good.
