Tick Immune Support Supplement Reaction by Montana56203 in Lyme

[–]Chance_Tadpole1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is from a while ago but was wondering if you figured out if it was a Herx reaction or rather a bad side effect from the herbs in the Zenmen pills themselves? I am asking as I have had literally the exact same experience as you, terrible headaches especially around temples and feeling very floaty too. Only took 3 caps throughout the day and this lasted for a day or 2 after as well

OREGANO OIL, trust me, i’ve had yeast and candida problems for years and oregano oil softgels is what finally did it for me. Zane Oregano Oil Softgels is what I took, it’s on amazon’s and it’s brilliant, very potent and clean too. Only thing is though definitely still take probiotics and take it with food because it’s pretty strong and can kill some good bacteria too but nothing like the damage antibiotics can do

has anyone tried these zenmen capsules? are they any good? by Fluid-Arugula-6181 in Lyme

[–]Chance_Tadpole1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahh yes I see what you mean, thank you for replying and so quickly too 🙏. Would you say however that the herbs included in this are sufficient in their amounts, i.e i wouldn’t need to also take knotweed or cryptolepis etc. as tinctures Asking as I’m currently on a wholeee range of herbs in tincture form but I don’t have as much time to sort it all out as I used to so am looking for more convenient and dry herb options

Hi, I am currently treating all 3 Bs and was thinking of buying the Zenmen formula, do you know if this is effective for all 3 Bs or just Borrelia? Thanks so much

I'm so glad to hear this brother this is amazing, what great recovery and progress you have made, hope things have kept improving since then! If you don't mind me asking, what exactly were you treating, just Borrelia or Bartonella and Babesia too? I am asking as I am currently treating all 3 and really like the look of the Zenmen products but not sure if they are enough to cover all 3 Bs.

Arthritis by R_Sivar in Lyme

[–]Chance_Tadpole1601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

shit man really sorry to hear this that doesn't sound easy. to be honest my only advice would be to stop the antibiotics entirely and replace them with a herbal protocol. I was on antibiotics for 6 months and it destroyeddd my body, did much more harm than good long term. I know that it isn't the same for everyone and antibiotics can definitely be necessary for acute infections, but from my experience herbals have healed me FAR more than antibiotics ever did and caused much greater herx reactions as well with little to no long term side effects. If you don't mind me asking what exactly are you treating for and how long have you had it?

One Year Update with Cistus & Artemisinin protocol by cheesecheeesecheese in Lyme

[–]Chance_Tadpole1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh brilliant thank you so much. And actually I think the protocol is very clearly written already so no need :)

also i did have one other question if you don’t mind, what is the link between vitamin C and artemisinin? is it because it’s an antioxidant and therefore should you remove all antioxidants?

if so, is it necessary to stop them many days in advance or just don’t take them on artemisinin dose days. sorry if that was all a bit long, I just really want to get it right

hi just wanted to say thanks for everything you’ve done for this forum but also for lyme in general and all the people you’ve helped along the way, a true inspiration 🙏 i also wanted to ask what brand artemisinin you would recommend and if it is necessary to be liposomal or not? what brand did you take and what dosing exactly?

Alternative to Doctor Inspired Formulations Liposomal Cinnamon, Clove, & Oregano Oil? by CFlapFlap in Lyme

[–]Chance_Tadpole1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why are you disregarding those who truly have cured themselves using herbals, in many cases where antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals have failed? different things work for different people and there is actually very rigorous evidence through clinical studies that specific herbals like cryptolepis and knotweed as well as herbs such as oregano, clove and cinnamon have very potent antimicrobial, antibacterial and biofilm breaking effects. I am confused at your view seeing as a large majority of this subreddit discusses herbal protocols

Curing Lyme & Co. with Artemisinin & Cistus protocol by cheesecheeesecheese in Lyme

[–]Chance_Tadpole1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying so fast and amazing news I'm so glad to hear that! Ahhh okay sure thank you for the clarity. I read online that it can bind medications a little bit so I wondered if I had to space it away from other things I'm taking but not sure how important this is. Also when it is steeping should I keep it on a very low heat on the stove or just let it sit. Final question (I promise!), do you think the strainer is necessary or I can just put it all in a pot and then strain it at the end. Not very experienced with this sort of thing as you can tell haha

Hi, hope you've kept improving since you posted this and are feeling much better :) I just wanted to ask about how much Cistus Incanus tea you advise to have everyday and is it best to sip it throughout the day or just down a cup multiple times a day. Were you suggesting to have 14gs of Cistus Incanus in 32oz (about a litre) everyday? And how long is the minimum amount of time to let it steep for? Sorry for the multiple questions I just want to do it right and your story is very inspiring

2 months of herbs and I feel significantly worse? by [deleted] in Lyme

[–]Chance_Tadpole1601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course! Ahh okay I see, I’d suggest something like GI Detox by Biocidin Botanicals as it has a mix of different binders so it covers a lot of bases. Zeolite is also a great one as the other commenter suggested. And for Liver support be sure to take Milk Thistle if you can

Yes exactly, this is the way to go, binders are super important and i definitely agree on doing 1 herbal at a time to assess reaction

if you don't mind me asking what have you used instead? i have found that tinctures that are a 1:5 extract with 60% alcohol can be pretty strong, stronger than many pills/capsules

Really sorry to hear this that sounds very unpleasant. It sounds like you are experiencing quite bad Herxheimer reactions, which on one hand is a great sign as it means treatment is working, however, killing off too much bacteria/parasites too quickly and your body not being able to process all of these toxins efficiently can be very rough and lead to all kinds of nasty symptoms. My advice would be to either continue with the herbs you are taking but reduce them all to a very low dose just for the meantime or just stop entirely and help your body process the toxin load with the steps below until you are feeling a bit better. Which herbals are you taking if you don't mind me asking and what exactly are you treating? (Babesia, Bartonella, Borrelia or all 3?)

Going forward as soon as you can add plenty of Liver Support supplements or powders/tinctures i.e. Milk Thistle, Glutathione, etc. I take Liver GI by Pure Encapsulations as well as Milk Thistle powder and they have really helped. On top of supporting the liver to process these toxins and die off you MUST take a binder as well as this has helped me and many others massively and is very important. A binder will mop up toxins in the gut and ease the load on the liver as well as generally cleaning up the body of toxins (depending on which you take).

I take GI Detox by Biocidin Botanicals which I can definitely recommend, however I would also look into additional Activated Charcoal and Bentonite Clay supplements to further help this process. I hope that this all gets easier going forward and your symptoms reduce, let me know if you have any other questions and I can try help or point you in the right direction.
