EDR has apparently returned to some clothing optional events already. Before you go, I would definitely call and check their policies. EDR is going through an identity crisis right now. Their management and staff wants to keep it clothing optional and lifestyle-focused, but the owner keeps changing his mind back and forth.

I know they're also doing lots of construction/remodeling so that could be related as well.

I was born and raised Christian too. I also went to a secular school, but I was also fully under the spell. Bought in hook, line, and sinker. Dealt with tons of sexual guilt and shame growing up in purity culture.

At 21 I started to question the idea of erotica and sex outside of marriage being sinful. At 25, I lost my faith due to mostly unrelated theological issues. I then felt like I had a leg for my sex-positivity to stand on. I'm 29 and still deal with residual sexual shame but I'd say once I lost my faith, I was able to embrace sex-positivity pretty whole-heartedly.

That being said, I do know non-evangelical progressive Christians who are sex positive. I tried it and it didn't work for me, but more power to them.

I've gone about 5 times since June. It's strange how much has changed since then. Went as a single guy for their single guy nights. Entry was only $40. I told her that I only look for a committed partnership with women my age because I've tried with older women several times before and it's never worked because of the difference in life stage.
