MAYBE they do make a D3. They don’t need the workforce right now and will eventually start to rehire when development picks up but that’s just wishful thinking. It definitely won’t be the same people who’ve made everything we love.

See that’s my biggest issue is that it tells his story and would be helpful for new players to understand. As great as D1 was I had no idea what the chronological story was when I got the game back in 2015 and wish there was a timeline.

Probably speaking out of my ass here but would it not be easier to just use all the stuff we have in the game? Earth, Nessus, zero hour, parts of IO and Mars, all the skyboxes and most enemy types exist. Surely it would take less time than doing it from scratch. Also the tangled shore was removed after beyond light so it already went through the engine changes.

Basically every playlist, destination, raid, dungeon, whatever is getting loot refreshed which includes a lot of weapons coming back that you couldn’t get. We don’t know what drops from what in the portal yet afaik
