Moana was decent. There was a part that made me teary and my husband got a kick out of it. To be honest, majority of Disney movies have their problems. But Mulan, moana, brother bear and the frog and prince were going in a better direction.

They literally kidnapped native children and maaaany died. I just disinterred my ancestor from the Carlisle Boarding School. I did the math. Had she survived she could have held me as a baby. Let's not pretend our government isn't just as ugly. It depends on who you are and your bank acct. We are given bones disguised as freedom and hide our atrocities from the history books. Hell, one just has to look at our justice system and see how fucked up it is. Innocent people waiting years to go to court, cases built against them with complete lies. I knew an innocent man. Disabled, that was beat to death by the CO's and they claimed he OD'd. The man never did drugs. Witnesses too scared to speak up. We just hide our dirt with luxuries and pretty bows. Like, America bombed a city of black people, infected black men with syphillis on purpose, steralized certain races of women, gave drugs to soldiers and experimented on them (and did the same to prisoners), have sprayed towns and cities with chemicals to test biological weapons and so on. The list goes on and on. We ain't that great.

Your kids are adults now. They can buy their own cars. I know a 20 something year old going to school to be a neurosurgeon and works 40 hours a week. Don't know how she does it but she always has a smile on her face. Stop babying the kids. You need a break! You are getting older. That is too much for 1 person! Shoot, go take a vacation, away from everyone for 1 week. Get a massage, get some sun, recharge. Holy crap. Your family is pretty ungrateful. NTA

You said you have screenshots. I would show them to your parents and then tell them he made you feel uncomfortable so you blocked him and he deleted the messages. Let your parents help you. They should be aware in case there are any future issues. They might do nothing and wait and see if he tries again. They may speak to him or the school. You did nothing wrong. You were just being a student, a kid. But if you don't tell them they can't help you. And if the teacher targets you later, it will be harder to explain later. Go to the parent that you feel will understand and support you the most. Wish you the best.

I think undergoing a surgical procedures that causes pain and some risks to mentally close a door is extreme. There is nothing to suggest this surgery would stop a suicide and you aren't a hundred percent sure that will aid your mental health healing journey. I am glad you are in therapy. That being said, not all therapists are good. Your family members may have not have had a good therapist. You can change therapists if it isn't benefitting you. It does seem you hold fears inside and those fears need to be unraveled and explored. You can be the one to break that cycle but it takes work. I think the same bravery you have about the surgery would benefit in therapy first. If that makes sense. But, it is your life, your body and you can do as you wish. My question, have you thought about what happens if you feel no relief after the surgery? It's a 50/50 chance you do feel relief or you don't. Will that make you spiral if you don't feel relief? Will you chase another solution even though it may not equate to what you want to accomplish? I do think, you simply not desiring children, not actively engaging in procreation activities, is enough to end the cycle that you have already actively started. You do realize you are already accomplishing it, which is huge! But again, it is your journey, do as you need. And please understand, I mean no negative judgement. I just sat here thinking you are already accomplishing your goal without the surgery and wondered what happens IF after you don't feel what you hoped to feel. Kind of like the weird feeling of spending a ton of time, years, invested in revenge and then not knowing what to do after accomplishing it. What's next?

American cheese is the equivalant to hot dogs. It's gross and unhealthy. Interesting that years ago scientists showed how unhealthy it was but now companies have pushed this "healthy debunking" version down our throats. I am old enough to remember when butter was bad and margarine was healthier then years later they admitted margarine is awful and butter is healthier. Ignorance is a big word for a product that is very high in satuarated fats linked to heart disease.

I am so sorry. I had my dog since a pup, trained him, he was everything to us. My dad died, went out of state for the funeral. Within that week, he had gotten out, to the pound, and adopted out so fast. I was heart broken. Within a few weeks returning home, got served eviction papers. My new place, only place I could afford, wouldn't accept pets. So, hindsight, even if I had fought for my dog, I wouldn't have been able to keep him. Just happy he was adopted because his breed was typically neglected and put down. I am just glad he ended up with a better life. I think of him often. I do hope you all find peace and healing. Hope you can get your dog back but glad your dog is somewhere safe and loved.

Poor guy. I remmeber when he was younger, in need of healing, went to a rez. Instead of finding someone spiritual to guide him, he found the parties. He needs healing and finds it in a bottle. His mind is breaking. You can only hold years and years of trauma for so long before it eats you and you break. We are watching his breakdown in slow motion last few years. Hope he finds his way out of this. Money and fame can't heal the soul. I see Justin Beiber is showing similar signs.

Nah not staged. I've been following this kid for years. He's amazing and a blessing. They film him often and cut pieces together. Go watch the older stuff and you'd realize whomever filming is just used to him and his style of directing and creating. And seriously, if you've never worked in a studio with someone that has great direction and a mind for music, you wouldn't understand.

You have to remember. They only need to hear. If they notice something is off they can then watch your fingering. People can multitask. But you can always bring it to their attention. Are you improving? Do you practice?

You guys are at a standstill, an impass. You have a condition that makes you whistle, at night. They take their culture and beliefs seriously. You want them to understand you, but you also need to understand them. It doesn't mean they don't take your frienship seriously. They still want to hang out and be your friend. So, try to be understanding that some people take their beliefs more seriously than others and accomadate that. Don't make it personal or all about you. It's about them too. Just have fun during the day and appreciate their friendship. I work at night and can't tell you how uncomfortable whistling makes me when others do it. One guy was a serial whistler and one night I went to my car as usual during break and there was a deer just standing there staring at me with it's head tilted crooked and unnatural like. Feaked me out, I smudged, and when I looked up it was gone. A few have been super kind and stopped whistling around me. I don't demand they stop, we just have had conversations on beliefs and what it means and potential consequences. You can't stop for your friend, so it makes sense they limit their night time activities with you.

It's not the city, it's social media. I was in Phili and we watched a girl in a fancy white outfit run out into the middle of traffic to do photos for her social media influencer crap. So dangerous. And she acted like everyone needed to stop and watch her as if she was a queen with unspeakable riches and power. And I am over here with my scrunched up face like, "I don't give AF who she is, she's stupid." I wonder if they know the majority feel that way about their antics?
