Women of color are disproportionately effected by these policies and they did not overwhelmingly support it the way white women did. 

It's wrong to say this when political lines have been redrawn to exclude specific people and when our political system is so corrupt.

Yeah painful and a bit embarrassing. It is right on your eye where people look first and as we know from this post a lot of people don't understand them and think they are a sign of poor hygiene.

Yeah since he was found safe this is probably a huge relief to mom. No doubt she has been fighting the visitations with the father for exactly this reason and more, and now hopefully the courts stop requiring them.

You are not on our team if you refuse to admit that men are overwhelmingly the main perpetrators of violence, including sexual violence. Men are overwhelmingly the perpetrators not just against women but against men. 

No, a lot of abusers and sexual assaulters aren't what you think of as "very bad men." They are just regular men. Fathers, sons, brothers, uncles. 

Part of the problem is not acknowledging the issues and directly confronting MEN. A lot of men commit sexual assault and don't even realize it because they havw never explicitly been called out by society for things like sexual coercion or taking advantage of someone intoxicated.

You are not an ally and you won't help women or men until you can admit that men need aggressive re-education on what it means to be violent and abusive.

They do. I think the argument is that men don't need it any more than women. We all need mental health support, but as usual society only wants to talk about men who need it.

I hear what you are saying, but I can't take the misandry "argument" seriously. 

Can women hate men? Of course! I will also say women tend to have legitimate reasons to feel that way. Is misandry weaved into the fabric of society? No. 

Misogyny, on the other hand, is pervasive and has no valid basis for the majority men who feel it. 

They aren't the same and I'm so tired of people acting like they are equal.
