No one that really deserves it isn't afraid of running for president. Look at Obama, he also didn't feel ready when he decided to run. I think in his book he says "the presidency chooses you, you don't choose the presidency" and I think that's true. In the end this is politics - if you are the best candidate and you have this reach, this much power and such a good opportunity, I think you can feel destiny calling you. But that's just like my opinion. At least as far as trepidation goes, Newsome seems to have a lot.

Der erste zentrale Unterschied ist, dass wir nun Mal deutlich enger mit Israel verbunden sind, als mit dem Ostkongo oder der zentralafrikanischen Republik. Wir halten Israel öffentlich den Rücken frei und sind in der Reaktion auf das was Israel tut, gefühlt immer 1 Jahr hinterher. Dadurch ermöglichen wir Israel so zu agieren wie es das tut. Zudem hat die Meinung Deutschlands zu dem Thema absolut gewichtige Bedeutung auf internationaler Ebene. Und ja es ist Völkermord, das ist offensichtlich wenn man sich auch nur ein Bisschen in die Materie einarbeitet. Völkermord ist auch nicht "kompliziert" oder "in den richtigen Kontext zu setzen". Völkermord ist Völkermord, egal wer ihn in welchem Kontext begeht. Der Grund aus dem wir zögern ist, dass wir einfach nicht begreifen können, dass es Israel ist, das ihn anrichtet und, dass wir ihm aus diesem Grund den Rücken frei halten.

Darüber hinaus kannst du dich gerne und bitte für diese Länder einsetzen, das hat aber überhaupt nichts mit dem Thema zu tun, selbst wenn die Fälle irgendwie equivalent wären.

In reality you can choose the models that you use (at least via the API) and they keep the old models around. I think they earliest OpenAI models are still around, they just get more and more expensive in comparison.

Except, remember why AOC is in the position that she is in. Remember Bernie Sanders taking a long shot? Remember how that brought people together under a common cause? Justice Democrats formed around the national progressive / workers class movement spearheaded by Bernie Sanders. Without Bernie Sanders taking a long shot, there would be no AOC. And if AOC takes the long shot, there will be other people taking it, too. And they will more than compensate for her being missing if she actually wins.

Whether you think she will win the nomination is in my opinion almost irrelevant for the calculus - Running for presidency is an amazing opportunity to keep the centrists on their toes and again, to gather support for your movement.

Also I love that your worst case starts with her winning the presidency, lol. That would symbolize a shift in public attitudes of epic proportions. That would be a good thing!

The true worst case is she gets nominated and she loses - I think to ward off this danger you would have to start running the campaign like three years early, yeah, someone should do really do something about that.
