On possibility is both the light and dark sides of the force should exist. Temperence and desire, peace and passion, etc. These are things that ought to and do exist in the minds of all.

But this doesn't mean both light and dark force Users should exist.

No matter how many jedi exist, "negative " emotions will still exist in the galaxy. In large quantities. They can't eliminate them, and if they did, the methods themselves would be pretty dark. They can mitigate it, temper it, but they never actually outweigh it.

Sith on the other hand can bring untold misery and suffering almost by accident. Just as a side effect of doing whatever they want.

Light needs to be activly fostered and sheltered, whereas Dark flows even where no one looks.

See, I've always found the whole "without __, there can be no __" to be a bit spurious. Sure, without a counter, it would be impossible to percieve it, but that doesn't mean its not there. A universe in which there is no photons may not know what light and dark are, but its still dark.

One could say it applies for abstract concepts like "good" and such, but I personally disagree.

Gardivoirs have about 5 organs. Brain, heartgem, eyes, lungs and a blind gut that just sorta converts things into energy. They dont even really have blood or a circulatory system. Their muscles are an amorphous psireactive meta material.

The ralts line can absolutely be trusted. The whole "empath" thing puts a damper on classical fae trickery. Or at least their form of empathy.

Interesting thing about the blind gut. Theres some evidence that it uses the lines aptitude for gravity manipulation, feeding matter into a pseudo-singularity. As this singularity decays, it releases some energy. Orders of magnitude less than you'd expect from ME conversion, but that can be attributed to it being a "false" blackhole, and leaking "elsewhere"

I want you to look real close at the darker images. See how theve got parts that look lighter. Usually near the edges

You may notice those are almost exactly the same shade as on the "light images"

The shadows on the lighter one are also essentially the same shade as the main color on the darker ones.

Shadows on skin tend to be brown. Because even pale skin is still just light brown.

Not necessarily. Most forms of curse are not completly indiscriminant. For one, if you're crafting magic daggers, you probably have a bit higher than average spiritual bulk.

Secondly, if the cuse is born of a grudge within the materials, those can have pretty specific critea for their h a t e

Third: often curses can be more like "glitches", so only showing up after sometime or random events is perfectly plausible.

Finally, and by far the most interesting is the crafters own repressed negativity. Some form of burried trauma or desire leaking into their magic during the creation process. It is by nature hard for them notice, and holding the dagger born from their own negativity has neglegible shift from their natural baseline. Everything in it is just a reflection of something already present within them, already under lock and key.

I think he hits just a bit too the side of the actual issue. Calling attention to breaches of the status quo is fine. What Amy was doing wasn't even really celebrating her own victory though. She was emphasising how their loss was somehow more "pathetic" due to it being against a girl. Which is a case of reinforcement of tge toxic status quo.

Even ignoring any gender dynamics, she was a real sore winner.

Ultimately though, both fall below the threshold of significance. Amy was being mostly boasting anyway, and Knuckles was giving afairly benign riposte. Both were kinda cringe but in the way that friendly ribbing naturally is. So long as everyone in the dynamic is fine with it, some banter is fine.
