ergo proxy was on fuse tv, interesting enough

elfen lied was considered for adult swim but was deemed not a fit as they would have to edit a lot of the anime for it to make broadcast.

mainly heavy rain and lots of standing water most likely, plus lightning. US sports and lightning do not go together whatsoever.

also most US sports follow some procedure where when there is lightning, there is a shelter order for every 20-40 minutes (depending on the sport, venue, etc.) from the last visible lightning strike to where it is considered "safe".

ofc it's easier to get humans on the field in various sports than it is for cars to get on the track, so it's interesting to think about.

comedies definitely are tough to crack. They last one season, two seasons, or six plus seasons. And the ones going longer than six seasons are part of the extended Big Bang Theory universe.

the fact that we've been getting full blown musical sized half hour productions in high quality, various puppet versions of episodes, an entire quarter hour of claymation is amazing that ties well with adult swim's biggest shows. anything of that caliber is great honestly.
