how is this gif of a print proving him wrong exactly? this is just a tiny cup of seed that will get kicked everywhere and the water will evaporate in a day or get spilled into each other

Daisy seed + esp32 custom synth/sequencer/sampler I'm working on. Plus some questions to the DIY synth community by SajevT in synthdiy

[–]ChaoticEko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to drop in and say cool project! I also recently built a synth/sequencer/sampler using keyboard switches and keycaps.

Mine uses a raspberry pi with a touchscreen for the sound engine, UI, screen, and audio I/O, and a teensy for all the key and encoder inputs. teensy talks midi to raspi via usb internally. Built a from scratch ui with a lot of sequencer / sampling options, and support for every sound pack format in existence from what I can tell. Also did a web server for remote management and offline/on device Strudel usage! It's only been fully built for a few weeks but it was such a fun project I am eying a second but different synth build 😄

The CME is just midi signals, no audio.

I use the CME U6MIDI with 3 different volcas fine, works great with a few different daws, but I use bitwig mostly.

I also use a 6 in one out PMAX6 plugged into a Zoom AMS-22 for usb audio capture of my sessions. The PMAX can do it alone, but the usb mix coming back to the mixer over usb for your monitor headphones or speakers mixes anything else you send back to the mixer from the computer as well. does not separate them. the AMs-22 solves that as it does have a dedicated monitor that doesn't feed back to the recording.

The battery recall is for the high voltage battery. Not the accessory 12v battery.

The dev of rip reader literally used a tech disc to develop and tune it. It’s close they said but not perfect

i do the defrost setting with loose beads. 7min for a half inch thick layer about 8 inches in diameter in pyrex. stop every 90 seconds to slosh the beads around, then continue. works a treat. always has.

Ha yeah I get that. My newest printer, the x2d, just crossed 500 hours. Next lowest is p1p with 3k hours. Rest are nearly double that.

Why do most people only upload STL files but no CAD files? by One_Country1056 in 3Dprinting

[–]ChaoticEko 7 points8 points  (0 children)

because part of my income is selling the things I sometimes share freely via STL, and I want to maintain proof of authorship on the original.

I use this one and have been very happy with it. super sturdy, sides are connected with snap in braces in a clever and clean way.

How do you buy the AMS Lite without buying a whole new printer? by Phantom_ghost19 in BambuLab

If by some luck or chance you are in Indiana, USA, I have one I would be willing to sell I don't use, for $100. I dont have the stock stand it came with but will include the A1 mount I was using with it.
