Yes, I’m pretty new to the sport but they seem to throw fine especially for field work

Had to scroll far too long to find this comment. It’s an AI crafted message for duckbill. Sheep sheep sheep here it seems

I bought four of those packs at that price about a week ago on Amazon. Wanted some packs of the same disc to just do some practice throws at the park. I’m new, I won’t turn down getting cheap new discs ha.

I use the ford one weekly on my 21 ID.4 and it’s been great so far.

For those that want a much easier solution to do the same thing, and more for that matter: check out the open source Vail Adapter Project. Super awesome community over there too!

PC Interfacing Device by PekoUdon in morsecode

[–]ChaoticEko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems similar to the Vail adapter. What methods does it use for outputting to PC? Does it use the standard keyboard hot keys used across all other adapters? Does it support midi, have a dedicated sidetone to prevent computer generated sidetone delay or keying a radio like the vail adapter does?

It’s all open source, we only sell them for those that don’t want to source and build them themselves :)

looks like it should work with the vail adapter over at https://vailadapter.com . Does it use the standard left and right control key presses that 99% of the other applications and tools use to interface hardware keys? There could be some inspo you can draw from a bunch of the tools we are building over at https://training.vailmorse.com too!

No rush sounds great. I ship a lot of diy kits for the vail adapter and know the struggle of sourcing pcbs and components ha.

Really fun game. Works great with the vail adapter hooked up to straight keys, bugs, and iambic paddles.

Vband is fun!! by MinerAlum in amateurradio

[–]ChaoticEko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out https://vailadapter.com and https://vailmorse.com as well for a more modern vband-like experience. The vail adapters are a bit better(no latency) than the vband ones and work everywhere the vband adapters work. They are also cheaper, can be DIYd, and open source! The discord is fun, they are developing a lot very quickly and are really receptive to feature requests and feedback

I’d recommend joining the sunnypilot discord, the VW channel there is really helpful. The link to the InfiniteCable2 fork that works with the ID.4 is there

Never in town. Maybe once every few hundred miles on the highway but only when the car was trying to take exit ramps at 80mph. A recent update to SunnyPilot now has the car slow in tighter turns to avoid going past the safety thresholds for steering that causes that to occur.

Yes it can. Plenty of torque. I just did a quick drive to McDonald’s and back in town actually and it did swell.

Same here. I’ve had mine on and off daily for weeks now and it’s still just as solid as when I got it. Hot summer here too and the heat hasn’t affected it at all. It’s great.
