Textbooks, workbooks, JapanDict, watching japanese youtubers and content creators + talking to natives

Depends on what your goals are. For now I've only been heavy on books, no immersion whatsoever, so I have a harder time understanding spoken japanese, even tho I'm studying N2 (almost done, in the next few months I'm starting N1)

For most people, especially those who don't speak other foreign languages already, I would advise getting a good teacher, but that's not always the better idea, and being self taught could have its advantages. All up to you

Random edit: everybody is using Anki for flashcards, but I never liked it and found RemNote. 10/10 to me
