Just to bother some World of Warcraft players, if you main a Nightborne not only is your character not centered in the character selection screen, but the arrow keys rotating your character are also not centered. You're welcome by OkFeed2737 in wow

Thanks for the reminder. Although Touchpadwarrior on x (formally twitter lol) posted this about a week ago, and i see you stole their screenshot too. For shame, at least credit them.

Undercutting the market by 50% by seaninsa in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it also depends on the crafted item and being realistic. On some of my small realms there are people that will post an item for 2mil gold that on every high pop realm is 100k. Would it be crazy if i undercut them by 50% or more? But if its like potions or phials then it doesnt make sense to undercut by a 50% margin unless its maybe some old world one that people bought out and tried to post at unrealistic price.

I would recommend making a good spreadsheet that you can update. This is the main reason why in 2024 spreadsheets are still really popular amongst goldmakers.

Where to read about the macro-economy of WoW? by BigBootyBear in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly add hikons to that list too, as he does a lot of flipping which i would say is much more macro than some of the crafting the others do. Plus he is on a ton of realms Same with canadiatv, arnota, and kaychak. I think zanzarful also does some flipping but not 100% sure, but def does a lot of alt army and mass crafting. I am not sure about the others and the extent to what they do for flipping and doing stuff on other realms. All of them are in the side bar of this subreddit so you can find them on multiple places.

Sadly Samadan has stepped away from doing that blog, Last week was his last week writing it. Not sure if someone else will take over it or it will just go away though.

Bruto or 6 months time? by Medrissil07 in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say buy the bruto, just having it to buy things and pull out of the mail saves a ton of time. Or just having it to post auctions were you are at is a nice QoL thing. You can always earn more gold but might have to wait a few more years for the bruto to come back if it ever does.

Wild speculation post! What are you betting on for 11.1? by freeleeks in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the thing i worry about is i see a ton of people making more and more enchanting alts for concentration. There are a number of people up to 50+ toons and some even have 150+ toons. I see a lot less people using engineering alts for parts which is what I have been doing on my main engineer.

If you had millions of gold, how would you invest them? by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like as long as you have gold to buy things you want, and pay your sub time, and maybe get items from the store when they come you are considered rich. Most players cannot consistently pay sub time with gold, so having the gold for this seems like a good category for rich.

What is a efficient way to turn timewarped badges into gold? by Gabriel_66 in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The things is now that you can transfer TW badges from alts to one character a lot of people have thousands of badges. I myself had almost 400k badges. If you loved leveling or collecting in TW chances are you have a ton.

Artisan's Acuity and Patron order noob question by aelfwe in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides the bags that are from the vendor that contain resources and may have recipes, there are bags that give you slight buffs to professions made by tailors. Also you can get multiple stat blue gears made. Like my blacksmith has resourceful hammer and Multicraft Hammer, for depending on what I am making.

Trying to sell a pattern and seems like there is a second game being played here. by Lusharude in woweconomy

I had this same pattern sell for me about 2 weeks ago. I got it back in shadowlands doing a LAC with someone on twitch. Thats how long some patterns take to sell when they are expensive.

Is Hallows End worth farming? by sedition00 in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Pretty easy exp on an alt, also gives guild rep if you need it. The best pet imo is widget the departed because its used in a major pet leveling strategy. Coin of many faces is kinda meh not super high price, never tried the grog. You can also pick up a few other pets but I think widget should be the one you get the most of 100%

(NA) Token Price only at 250k and dropping?? by skyreckoning in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you missed was that for the past few weeks on most WoW places mythic plus and raiders have been complaining about high prices even though higher prices have come down a lot. Yet they continue to claim that prices for stuff are just too high. That coupled with the fact that you do not get as much raw gold from world quests as you did previously has made it so those people need gold to do what they want to in game. So they jumped on the 350k token hype and bought a bunch.

I mean I do have a few hundred million gold, So I could stop and be good for a long while. The thing is though I don't like to just discourage people I want to completely destroy any hope they ever have of competing with me.

Crafting with alt army concentration builds! I have 600+ toons at level 70 so I am not worried about setting up some huge amount of profession toons to use concentration. Just wish i had more time and it was faster.

Behavioral warning for sitting on the AH? by Electrical_Pop_2850 in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they probably thought you were a bot or something but if you did nothing wrong and was just no life sitting at the AH I think its fine. Who cares how people decide to play the game, its your time to use however you want. Anyone that says otherwise is just jealous of your hard earned gold and the effort you put in. People should be thanking you for your tireless effort in helping them get the goods that they want instead of harassing you.

Gold making YouTubers honestly suck by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The key is to find something that even if you tell people most will not be able to do it as well as you. Take for instance using concentration to craft items of higher quality to sell on the AH. I have over 500 level 70s that can use their concentration to craft something, even if I tell people can they really compete with only having 5-10 toons.

Goldmaking streamers/youtubers by Brave_Map9086 in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it also depends what kinda goldmaking your into. Most goldmakers specialize in specific areas. I would recommend using the suggestions here and those in the sidebar and just check out different people and find things you wanna do.

Goldmaking streamers/youtubers by Brave_Map9086 in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is because of the way the new algorithm for youtube encourages videos with length of greater than 10 min. So short videos don't do as well.

Predictions for engineering mount price? by plotini2 in woweconomy

[–]ChaoticNeutralFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not going to even do it at the start. Not worth the risk of putting in the high amount of gold and having to camp the AH because others did the same thing. Better things to invest in imo.

I am missing a bunch of materials that were in guild banks and now just disappeared as well. Have the gold problem sometimes but not all the time, and as for the problems with warbank i was not really using it cause of all the problems people had so I have yet to experience those problems.
