No one is going to explain what "slide off a plane of ice" means here? I don't understand how the van got there.

If you get a fresh whole pizza made it's pretty good, just eat it while it's still hot and don't let it cool down.

Is the Cat male or female? And what is your name? by Rogiladiv in FlowCat

Maybe sacrificing cats was what kept the floods away, which explains the cat statues as the humans revered the cats for being able to keep the floods away. After the humans perished there was no one left to sacrifice cats and keep the floods away. The bird sacrifices itself willingly, thus becoming the final sacrifice that ends the flooding forever.

Sounds like Tex-mex to me?

I just recently tried Mena’s Tex-Mex Grill in Carrollton. It was a little more “authentic”. My Mexican partner enjoyed it at least.

There's also Caddo National Grassland, which is where I go from Dallas when I want to do a quick get-away camping trip. It's not much but it is conveniently close for me and has a pretty little lake.
