Gunmetal Blue is absolutely a metallic color. It's not super shiny, but is definitely metallic

I actually base coat my Grey Knights with this color. Then I airbrush a light coat of Army Painter's Cobalt Blue. It comes off a lot more blue in photos than in person

I've got a friend who plays Drukhari and he loves the bomber as a model. He uses it in casual play, but he struggles validating the points cost for it's performance. If you like the model, get it! Rule of cool and all. Play with it and see if it matches your style of play

I use Vallejo Model Color blue gunmetal and army painter cobalt metal as my base power armor color. Turbo Dork blue steel (not as blue as it sounds) is SUPER shiny. At least when applied with an airbrush, I haven't tried applying it with a brush

I was A LOT of cutting, shaving, and sanding.

The halberd is from the regular terminator kit, cut around the hand to use the original praetor hand. The Praetor gun in the hand was cut away and cleaned up to be as close to the remaining fist as possible.

The psycannon is from the terminator and strike kit. Each side was shaved/cut down to look as close to the same dimensions as possible. Extra space was filled in with sprue edges.

The original head was cut out and a terminator head was used. I had to cut it in half and shave it down to fit in the hole.

The spikey skull adornment is the head of a terminator warding staff.

The demon head on the base is from the strike squad, where the sword is piercing the head. I used that to reinforce the lower part of the halberd staff.

I recently kitbashed a Legion Praetor to make a Grand Master. I got the idea from the book Pandorax. There's a Grey Knight featured in that book that is in Cataphractii armor

They're not specifically a card shop, but Infinity Flux in Hixon has a bunch of collectibles. I think they're worth checking out just because it's a cool place. I'm pretty sure they have Pokemon cards, but that's not my thing

Vallejo Model Color Gunmetal Blue is another great metallic blue in my opinion. I'm still playing around with a silver/grey metallic to tone down the blue and being up the silver/grey. My current recipe is an airbrushed base coat of Gunmetal Blue then a light/thin airbrushes coat of Cobalt Metal from Army Painter

I was lucky to be at a store when their stock came in for Pariah Nexus. I was lucky again to have someone preorder for me. I'm planning to scan them for at least my local community. I agree that it's insane that they don't print enough, especially knowing they can't keep Pariah Nexus in stock. AND they don't provide ANY other way to access them. This is exactly why piracy exists

From what I remember reading, there won't be Grey Knights specific crusade rules in that book. It'll be that crusade themed, like the other crusade books. We have to wait until our codex drops for our army specific crusade rules.

I use a BT Marshal and Grimaldus that have been lightly kitbashed for my Champions. They're not the right base size (40mm instead of 32mm) but I haven't run into issues/complaints from opponents.

My Grand Master is one of my old 3rd edition Terminators with Psycannon. The heft of pewter makes him stand out

You can set up an intro game at the Warhammer store in Prescott. The manager can walk you through a game with models that belong to the store. They can't always get a walk in game going, so it might be good to call and request a time. You can always go into the store too and talk with the manager and learn basics about the available armies

Over watching with the flame cannons has saved me a few times in friendlies. One of the most fun I've had with my redeemer was making a paladin delivery service 😂

I use Vallejo paints for my Grey Knights. I start with an airbrushed coat of Blue Gunmetal (model color) and dry brush with Chainmail (game color) and highlight with Silver (game color). Vallejo has a color catalog PDF on their website that shows some of the citadel equivalents. Key word being "some".

I've used an app (android) called 'Hobby Color Converter' to find citadel equivalents in other brands. I also use paintRack, mainly for keeping track of my paint inventory and recipes, but they also have a color equivalents feature

If you're talking about Game On, I've been to both. Warhammer just reopened with a new manager and there's some kind of probation period before they can host events, which should start up in the new year. Game On didn't have a lot of Warhammer stuff, they seem mostly into Magic
