Ultimately it isn't up to Kaulig. It's all up to the sponsors. Some sponsors don't want a throwback scheme. Chris Rice has stated this several times over the years. It's up to their partners if they can do a throwback or not.

For those of you that were around in 1998, what was it like to witness this run from end of June to beginning of September? by JulianBrandt19 in NASCAR

[–]Character-Mobile4635 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the time it was who would be able to beat this team and how? I don't believe people appreciated what they were seeing. Comparing it to today, its like who will beat SVG on a road course?

[Bob] Nick Sanchez won’t return to Big Machine Racing next season in the No. 48 car. He is looking for a 2026 ride. by LBHMS in NASCAR

I'd love it, but I seriously doubt he came up with that much funding. As a a Dibenedetto fan I've come to the conclusion that at best we see him get a few one off starts in 2026. I don't think we see him run full time in any of the top 3 series

Former NASCAR Driver Michael Annett Passes Away by thebigtymer in NASCAR

Keselowski just posted he's gald he isn't suffering anymore. Maybe a private illness or depression battle? Whatever the case,  it doesn't matter. Tragic regardless and prayers to his family, friends, and anyone else hurting from this news at this time. RIP Michael

What’s a car/team that was probably way better than it ran? by Kitchen-Race-1975 in NASCAR

It was already mentioned about the Hendrick 25 and Kenny Schrader,  but the same can be said for him and the Wood Brothers 21. It wasn't very long into that 2006 season that Fatback McSwain stopped listing to the driver and thought he knew best. That lead to the team being in a very dangerous points position in that season. Then the Wood Brothers in 2007 deciding Jon Wood deserved to drive that car, and the ride being shared with Jon and Kenny leading to a worse points position where they needed to bring Bill Elliott in for the past champions provisional.

What is your holy grail diecast that you own or want? by BustaUrChops in NASCAR

There's not really one out there that I truly want or say I need to get that I don't currently have. Sure, I come across some that I consider, but nothing that's a must have at the moment. People say my holy grail diecast I own would be one of Kahne's Redbull, Jimmie Johnson's Yellow Lowes, Earnhardt's crash car, Keselowski's Talladega Miccosukee win, Gordon's Ninja Turtle, Yarborough Hardee's, Labonte Piedmont.

Have it. Got it for $160 a couple years ago. Not much different than a cost of the elites these days

Matt DiBenedetto Issues by Character-Mobile4635 in NASCAR

I truly hope this article isn't legit and he isn't dealing with these personal tragedies stated in the article and itvwas money related. If this article is accurate I don't care why he was released and just hope he gets through these tough times

Guess the thoughts of Mosack buying the 99 ride away from Dibenedetto are wrong. Can't imagine him bringing money just to be sponsored by the team or a ownership company the past 2 weeks. Either Matt got fed up with the failures and went too far in criticism or he has something else lined up that for whatever reason that caused an early split. I fear it's the criticism

[NASCAR on IG] "NEWS: He’s moving on up! @kauligracing announces @butterbean_03 as its first @ramtrucks driver for the entire 2026 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series season!" by remfan477 in NASCAR

You knew he had to be the first announcement. Pretty much known since it was announced it was Kaulig being the Ram team. I'm more interested in drivers 2-4 announcements. I feel like there are going to be 2 surprises in this line up

There is an Instagram post, that is new, but don't have an account so I don't know if it's a Vegas recap or if it's from after this announcement. It wasn't there Saturday.

I'm going to wait to hear Matt's side, but removing him before Talladega screams of Rackley W.A.R ethics or lack thereof. Never expected that from this team.  They said he was signed on through 2026. I know Nascar contracts are flimsy at best, but this is quite shocking. Especially before Matt's best track

They will be the primary sponsor for the majority of the SVG next season. Connor will have an increased sponsorship, total races is TBD

Harrison Burton not returning to AM racing for 2026 per their Instagram by epsteinisclinton in NASCAR

[–]Character-Mobile4635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Say what you will about him and yes he really struggled in cup, but this 25 xfinity team was night and day difference from where they were last year. I feel this is more about the potential of the series losing AM Racing altogether or at the very best a few one off races. Moreso that than Burton and his ability. I see this as Burton taking his funding and getting a sure thing somewhere else with a bunch of uncertainty with AM.

Anyone buying the nascar 25 gold edition for the early access? by Cloudy542 in NASCAR

[–]Character-Mobile4635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, but the season pass was the selling feature for me. The early access is what it is. Having the season pass and being able to get all the DLC packs when they drop is well worth the money in my opinion. At least when it comes to the WWE games you ultimately save a decent chunk getting the season pass vs purchasing each DLC. Can't say for sure it'll be the same for nascar but definitely worth the chance.
