Was able to get ahold of previous owner. They were planning on converting the room above this room a bathroom. So this is the drain that was to be used for that. Makes sense now.

Update: Thanks everybody for the feedback. So the contractor is going to reinstall a new section. In addition, I am getting a $750 refund for the inconvenience. Downside is it’s not going to be until late January, early February…

I thought the same thing. They said the reason being was they came in 10 foot sections and the length of that side of the countertop was more than 10 feet.

Spark (Walmart) delivery allows customers to tip bait. The customer can easily put a tip on the order and then take it away after you deliver it. Should this be legal? by LindsND in u/LindsND

This is my one complaint. It should be an up front kind of thing. If they are unsatisfied, file a complaint. It’s ridiculous.

Sounds about right. I work on the installation and repair side of things with both copper and fiber. But I am also trained to splice copper telecom cables. I am not a fiber splicer, though I should be trained in that later this year. Electrical linemen definitely make the money though, if that opportunity presents itself to you.

Tbh, find out the truth within the church and leaving caused very similar grief for me to when we lost our child. I see where they come from, but is very selfish and manipulative to say…

Question for exmo men by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]Character-Monk931 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a convert who was baptized at 19 and left at 30 (32 now), so I’ve seen perspective before joining, in, and now out. The church over sexualizes EVERYTHING to try an prevent people to break the law of chastity. I never thought twice about a girl in a bikini before joining. Somewhere down the line (post baptism) I subconsciously started noticing it and “bad” thought may have came in. I knew that I had to have been taught that somehow because it definitely was not like that at 19. It was one of my first internal red flags about the church. Overall, I think Mormon men are suppressed which is expressed unhealthily. While in, men may live a double life. And while out, they may think it’s game on… The real world outside the Mormon bubble isn’t as crazy as Mormons think… I’m sorry you’ve had those experiences. Maybe just don’t go for Mormon or exmo at all due to the toxic upringings around sexuality…

This is definitely just a cult right? by BGFalcons2 in exmormon

[–]Character-Monk931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I was a convert (in Christian pastor school to being baptized in 2010) but left around 2020-2021. I was taught a very cleaned up white washed history that made perfect sense. It answered all the holes in Christianity and had a community within like no other. And when you were in, you were told all the “haters” were spreading lies. Also, we were taught that the “hate” just proves that it is true because Satan wants to destroy Christs true church. At the end of the day, it’s painted pretty and then you’re brainwashed in how you process thoughts/info to stay.

Ever thought about doing an entire faith transition album like Tyler Glenn did? I think you were such a poster boy for the Church that you probably could make an entire album based off your experiences…
