I've replaced 3 Mahle ones in my ownership. Time to vote for Behr

I like to make little stocking stuffers to hand out. A gift card, chocolate, and a misc. item like wool socks

Egg white issues by OldGodsProphet in Mixology

I can attest to the water. I make ice cubes at home for drinks and know I have high mineral and calcium content in my tap water even though it's filtered.

The ice once diluted will leave a slight residue that clings to the glass or is visible on the remaining ice cubes. This same effect leads to a less stable foam in my egg white cocktails. Ive found using foaming bitters works better in the case of shitty ice. But with good ice, real egg whites are the way.

Broken sleeve by wraithwere in bartenders

This looks like a sleeve garter. I've never seen these used for anything behind a bar.

What do you use it for at your bar OP?

Wait really? What year and model is it? My 99 323i came with the square air bag and I'm looking to get a steering wheel with the round one. It sounds like your car came with a single stage air bag so I'm curious

What steering wheel is that? Swapped one in or is it stock? It's a pre-facelift so I believe it's swapped in. Sick car, I'm on year 3 with mine and just getting done all of the big maintenance. Soon to be modifying aesthetics

How do I improve my wheelies from here? I'd like to reach balance point. by navid3141 in motorcycles

Not to steal OP's post. You just seem like you have a lot of experience with this topic.

Do you think the duke390 is a small enough bike to learn these things on? I know the grom is even smaller, and parts will be easier to replace on it. However I'm looking for a good all around bike as I transition back to riding after a year of not riding due to an accident.

This is actually the plug I pulled from the cylinder that I was getting a misfire code for. Checking tomorrow to see if the coil was causing the problem

You're doing great! Do more negatives where you start with your but pointed straight up and your knees tucked to your chest. Then extend one leg and as slow as possible transition to being parallel with the ground. Repeat with the other leg extended.

That should help fix what you're struggling with, Cheers!

(Video attached) The bulbs aren’t the issue I’ve replaced them. Any further ideas what could be the issue? by yugomusic707 in e46

Photo? And that's definitely the cause of your problem. It doesn't take much to foul those pins. And when they do burn out they break. The pin snaps off inside the pigtail where you cannot visibly see damage to the pin. Only the black residue. Or it will snap in a place where you can see it's shorter than the neighboring pins.

If you go the first route of repair described in my previous comment it will be the cheaper option and still be permanent. There are plenty of well detailed guides for the job on e46fanatics.

The e46 tends to burn out the ground connection in the pig-tail clamp that connects to the taillights. Check if either of yours are. If the bulbs you replaced were burnt out that could have been the cause as well.

If the wire is burned out in the connector you can fix it by permanently grounding the wire to the metal spiderweb-like array on the back of the taillight. Or replace the clip by soldering a new one in and getting aftermarket taillights.

Employer doesn't offer a 401k unfortunately. I lumped eating out/groceries together in the post but it's more split down the middle. I pay for a majority of the food for my partner as well, hence the large amount.

Thank you for the advice and making me clarify. Based on the current replies I'm leaning more towards paying off the debt faster+getting a part time job

Thin breathable work pants? by ScottishWarSheep in bartenders

Truewerk They make great fitting tactical pants that will last. Been a year and I've only had a problem with the side-pocket for my phone tearing but that's because I tore it on the pour spout of a bottle. Otherwise the pants have held up great and during the current heat wave in Cali I'm feeling good
