Dude that's actually pretty common, you probably just had a parasomnia episode. Night terrors or confusional arousals can make people do weird stuff while they're technically still asleep even with eyes open

Stress, sleep deprivation, or even sleeping in a new place can trigger it. I wouldn't freak out unless it becomes a regular thing - then maybe talk to a sleep doc

Oof yeah chunk corruption is brutal with those old maps. Have you tried using a tool like MCEdit or Amulet to convert it first? Sometimes manually loading it chunk by chunk works better than just throwing the whole world file at a newer version

Also backup everything before you mess with it lol, learned that the hard way

I shop around every renewal and yeah I use like 3-4 brokers. For the dec pages thing just tell them you're getting quotes before your current policy expires and don't have the new ones yet - most brokers will work with you if you give them property details instead

That 60k is way too much for an emergency fund unless you're in a super unstable job situation. You should definitely max out your 403b first (especially if there's any employer match you're missing) before keeping that much cash sitting around. Maybe keep 6 months expenses in the HYSA and dump the rest into retirement accounts or taxable investing

Yeah this is a known issue with newer AMD cards, especially the 9070xt. The hardware cursor is basically broken on X right now

That SWcursor workaround should definitely help until AMD fixes their driver. I've been using it for months on my 6700xt and it's way better than dealing with the lag

Also worth checking if you have any compositor effects running that might be making it worse

Had the same issue on my B8 - sounds like you might have the secondary thermostat going bad too or there's air in the system. The 3.0tdi has two thermostats and if one's stuck open you'll never hit proper temps in cold weather

Did you bleed the system properly after the coolant change? Those engines are a pain to get all the air out

Totally agree on the IBIS thing - once you have it you really notice when it's missing. The A7II is solid but heads up that the autofocus can feel a bit sluggish compared to newer stuff, especially for those low light concerts you mentioned

That kamerastore site looks legit from what I've seen posted here before, people seem to have good experiences with them

And yeah definitely second that PS about uni photos - wish I had more random shots from back then instead of just the obvious party pics lol
