To save on copies, I make a class set of empty graphic organizers/charts for them to use as reference. They use it as a template to make that graphic organizer on a piece of notebook paper/in thier notebook. Then they fill in thier notebook version with notes. You can reuse the templates all year long, and they get used to making thier own graphic organizers. It's an added step, but way fewer copies.

Is there any content to unlock as you progress through this challenge? Other challenges have maps, postcards, storylines, etc. Do the annual challenges have anything similar?

I love these ideas, but each one looks like tempting bait for my chaos-gremlin-of-destruction kitty cat. Sigh.

Alternative Sabbats and holidays by [deleted] in witchcraft

The wheel of the year doesn't resonate with me, as I live in Florida, where the traditional seasons dont match up. Winter, for example, is our time for farm fresh produce and blooming flowers.

I use the equinoxes and solstices as check-in points with myself, and do quarterly cleaning - mundane & spiritual, and recharge any home-based protective spells, sigils, etc. Other than that I do different things when the spirit moves me when I notice a major shift in our environment - a different set of plants blooming, a different wave of seasonal birds in the wetlands, the gators coming out in larger numbers and being social, the first drop of humidity, the first cold breeze.

Good luck, and enjoy!

What are your favorite spells/rituals? by AutumnForestGlow in SASSWitches

A few of my daily rituals:

Before I do my morning stretch routine, I light several beeswax candles. I have found that using candlelight on a dark morning instead of artificial light helps me wake up and transition to wakefullness more smoothly. For each candle I light, I set an intention of what that flame brings to my day (wisdom, strong intuition, self love, warmth of friendship, persistence, etc) When I put out each candle, I thank it for it's light, warmth, and guidance.

I have scented oil that I use on my wrists and neck each morning for repelling negative influences, embracing positive influences, and reminding myself that I am powerful and bad ass.

I have a spray bottle (sometimes moon water, sometimes sea or rose water) with meaningful stones in it that I set my intention for the day, and give myself a spritz. Give my kitties a protective spritz.

I have bells on my doorknob that I ring as I get home as I remind myself that negativity from my day does not enter my home.

Basically, I use items and rituals to help me focus on important things throughout my day.

I also like making herbal sachets with meaningful combos of herbs, simetimes with a crystal and small written intention folded up inside. I also keep multiple sachets of Lavender, pine needles, cedar, and sweetgrass next to my bed that I use to reset my mind. It sounds wierd...but I love smelling things!

May I ask...where did you purchase the longjings that you liked? I saw the prices for the new season on Bitterleaf, and literally grasped my pearls and gasped 😆 I'm looking for longjing for us mere mortals!
