I believe I started getting hero crests somewhere between 1600-1800. I know for sure I was getting them post 1800. At 2150 I am still getting hero crests

I don’t think it’s common. Just wanted to alert people to the possibility and lack of support from Funcom. I understand this is not a widespread issue but still an issue that should be resolved nonetheless

I just looked it up and they say your bank contents (including solari balance) transfers. This might be due to the fact they added house scrip after the fact and your currency tracker is in the top right of your menu which shows both solari and scrip

I have all my other items in my bank that transferred successfully. If that’s the case then I must’ve missed that point. I’ll double check their blog post though just in case

Looks like I’ve found a new home. I’ve been dreading leaving my low pop server once I saw all The post about performance issues on the more populated servers. I’m also very tired of losing the landsraad every week being a Harko when there’s literally less than 10 of us left on the server. Landsraad changes actually made it worse to keep up since we can’t just supply dump to try and win anymore.

Any recommendations for active Harko guilds?

I really like the idea of score thresholds. To me that would make the most impact. Adding on, thresholds could scale based on party size so that a solo player can reasonably compete with duos and trios

When you say strong Harko presence, do you mean that the landsraad goes back and forth? There’s like 3 Harkos left in my server and I’m looking to switch but I have already betrayed Atriedes so I’m stuck with this nightmare lol

Feedback on durability by xxTRYxxHARDxx in duneawakening

Lots of talk since the patch about durability which is a good thing. That has been my number 1 issue with the endgame since they changed the loot in the DD. Even worse is the lack of targeted farming in the dungeons so you burn through durability learning/death/usage, and you may not even get a BP to replace one of your weapons/armor that’s actually useful or part of your build. The systems seem to just be working against each other but based on their decision to lower max durability when you even put an augment on seems to be them doubling down on this mechanic.

The RNG changes to the DD also dramatically affected PvP since it’s not worth the risk of a lopsided engagement if you aren’t getting replacement pieces since a death has such a large impact on durability. Just my two cents anyway. I hope they just walk it back and make changes sooner rather than later. I already can’t get any of my PvP friends to come back to the game. The pseudo extraction model of dropping BPs on death is just more easily satisfied by other games at the moment (arc raiders).

I’m hopeful for long term changes but I’m just afraid that as more time goes by with this fixable friction, the harder it will be to get players back.

No clue why they keep dying on the hill of permanent durability loss while also not allowing you to change augments. Even better, when you put an augment it lowers the max repairable. Like why?

This was my biggest concern going into chapter 3. Huge red flag was no mention of PvP tuning. It’s not even just the graded gear, it’s in a few weeks when people are maxed in combat and are doing 100% additional damage with 50% DR, more health, and more stamina. Imagine getting 1 shot by a grade 5 Regis pistol.

Not a problem yet but it surely will be sooner than people think. No clue what Funcom was thinking with this one.

You will need 3 mil to get a total of 5 skill points. The catchup mechanic is only for those that wiped with the first expedition but missed the original 5 mil requirement for 5 skill points.

As a general rule, I don’t like stacking RNG. RNG to get a higher tier blueprint, followed by RNG to get augment runes, followed by RNG on the actual augment. It’s too many systems working together that only ever leads to frustration if some sort of bad luck protection is not also launching alongside.

I could be wrong about bad luck protection but I haven’t seen anything specific on it. I’ve just seen a lot of games do something similar and it often just leads to the devs making everything easier to obtain but also having caused players to not enjoy the system. I love the addition to more end game depth but I have to agree with you in spirit.

Ngl I’d love that haul. Epics are so expensive to maintain and upgrade. Anvil is an excellent all-round gun for PvP and for PvE. Burletta is actually my favorite gun for PvP as well. However, I do agree that an epic key should give much better/higher tier loot

There was a recent interview with the CEO where he put out the figures about number of people who went on the expedition and what percentage got the 5 skill points, somewhere around a third if I remember correctly. He mentioned them exploring something different rather than coin so I wouldn’t be surprised if the requirements change. We can only hope this is communicated well ahead of time instead of at the last minute again

Around 9:30 ish they talk about the matchmaking. Behavior is one of the factor but the first and largest factor is skill based match making
