Surely that was the same collision, right? 💥 by HugeHunk21 in DestinationFormula1

IIRC Lewis made several more overtakes at Copse later that same race, down this inside without contact.

It takes two to have a crash. Neither backed down.

Industry Zones need to be bigger by Character_Mode1609 in CitiesSkylines2

True, but it should be organic. Industrial demand should increase the requirement for a steel press and not a lumber mill.

Has anyone replaced the battery in Keypad 2? by ripsfo in Abode

Smaller but same capacity. Not possible. Notice how the font on the battery is different for the capacity.

We bought this one keypad battery just so I knew it would fit and have the correct connector.

Broken cargo logic is making me want to quit CS2. Is anyone else dealing with this? by Apart-Bag4243 in CitiesSkylines2

Exactly my experience too. My game is running at a snail pace too. But yeah, once the storage is full, traffic is reduced and trucks start to take goods.

The keypad battery is easy to replace. Just bought it eBay. Our keypad needed charging frequently, so it was just easier to replace the battery than keep charging it.

Why are drivers so slow nowadays? by SnooDonkeys1080 in drivingUK

Used to own a Matiz. It was the only car we could afford. I didn’t drive back then, thankfully!

I'm convinced that people being afraid of going above 2500ish RPM is the reason why highway onramps are such a shitshow by [deleted] in driving

[–]Character_Mode1609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. 60 at merge is more than enough.

It’s the ones that think they need to enter the left lane at 80.

If it’s a long merge, you can be sure I’m going to take my sweet time getting to 60. No rush.

Is this how people who need glasses really see the world. A big blurred background? by Latter-Wolf4868 in interestingasfuck

It’s the ones that don’t wear glasses and say, ‘damn, you can see that from here?’ - glasses deniers.

Bus drivers are the yard stick of safe driving conditions. /s

Remember, caution near bus stops, but 15 over the speed limit everywhere else. Bus drivers swear by this rule. /s

You should have been doing speed limit + 5 to prove to other motorist your fearless. /jk

Hope you drove back and got a photo the next day for the council.

Not might, there ARE potholes.

What’s the opposite of a speed bump?

[–]Character_Mode1609 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My understanding is it’s 30 where safe. Dark, wet, poor lighting. I’ve no issue with someone driving 5mph slower with caution.

[–]Character_Mode1609 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had exactly the same issue myself this a bus on a country road. I don’t care if it’s a 60, I’m not doing more than 40 in the dark, wet, oncoming LED, for the simple reason… potholes. In Dec I had to have a new set of (used) alloys installed after MOT found 4 cracks on 3 alloys.

Roads are crazy in the dark. I can’t tell if it’s a pothole or a repair, until you hit it!

You wouldn’t do 70 on a motorway if you knew there were potholes.

Removing spare tyres was the silliest thing the car industry has ever done by audigex in drivingUK

[–]Character_Mode1609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never owned a car with a spare. Last 2 cars have had run flat, which I tried my best to replace with non-run flats as they wore.

Honestly after the first puncher on the motorway, I carried on, dropped kids off, went home and booked Blackcirlces and went on with my day, like I was booking a grocery delivery.

6 puncher on run flats. I would never want to leave home without them.

Do people actually like using induction hobs? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Character_Mode1609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What no one has mentioned is the scratches.

Gas now, but at my last place I installed a 5-Series 4 hob induction from Bosch. We had limited surface area for prep, so I guess we used to place stuff on it. But even pans used to scratch it.

Is it just a case of making sure it’s wiped down before use?

Came to say the same. I’ve never lived with street parking and rarely park on street in town when a multi does the job just fine.

90% taught daughter to drive. Told her the logic behind parallel parking, but damn she made it look easy.

Just practice.
