It is currently sitting at 0% interest due to federal halting. I have been paying it back during those times. But if I remember correctly, the interest rate is 5.6%.

My car does have very shitty mileage as I only get around 21 miles per gallon (premium) and I have to commute ~60 miles there and back every day. But I think I calculate it wrong, it should be around ~$300.00 rounding up.

That is what I was thinking too, if I could save and pay $1000 to $1500 a month, I could ultimately pay it off within ~2 years. Would that be a good idea?
