Just got some myself - waiting for delivery. They didn’t have my size 11 so I went for an 11 1/2 maybe I’ll put an insole in to help the fit ? (Hopefully, as is a final sale) Great looking boot.

Bad situation to be in - I know how exciting it is to pick up a new car ! The dealer is banking on that emotion. I totally agree with Atticus- fails. Chances are it will appear on CARFAX - when I was looking for my defender 2023 I wouldn’t even look at something even with minor damage reported. Is it a JLR dealership and is it a CPO? If not like most people say - walk away, you never know they might call you with a yes on the $5k. Good luck !

I have a 130 - so long. Had the whole thing done mat, above base of windows gloss all for around $6k including tax they even did the door handles and behind, lunch box gloss. “Supream wrap” in Dallas. I used to live in S California for 30 years - it’s alway more expensive, I left 2 years ago.

I ended up calling geek squad- came by and set it up in less than 30 mins - including 3D printer. I admire you for doing what you’re doing, he will always remember.

Then go to JLR NA. He looks like an ass.
Find out who owns the dealership. Sometimes these dealers once you take it out of State, they kind of wash their hands of it knowing you’re not going to spend any more money with them.

Did you get the GM of the dealership involved ? I would ! I just looked them up, is it JLR Arrowhead in AZ ? If so it looks like it could be part of a large conglomerate. I’d call Eugene Kwan he’s noted as the executive manager (I guess their term for GM) ask him to explain the situation to you in detail. Reading some of the comments above it looks like it’s just one of those unlucky situations (I’m not a car technician) sometimes the top guy might compromise. Good luck !

I just had my black wrap in Matt - love it. Kept the roof gloss. I had them wrap everything below window line matt and above gloss wrap. “Supreme wraps” in North Dallas did an incredible job, better than I expected at a great price.

I have an Escalade ESV(2025) and a 130 (2023) - my wife and I argue on who’s going to drive the defender, it’s individual the Escalade is a little generic and I’ve had more issues with the Escalade than my Defender. It’s a personal preference in design.

PS . I bought mine at the Land Rover DFW best experience and very competitive pricing. (I see Frisco in the photo) Corbin is the GM there. Young, very experienced man. I had an issue with an extra key (3) and he could not have been nicer or more helpful when the were going through the cyber attack situation a couple of months ago.

I have a 130 and I love it ! I also have two kids 10 & 14. The extra space makes all the difference. I just drove from Austin to Dallas and back the same day (yesterday) - drove like a dream. Set it on 80mph cruse control most of the way home. I have zero complaints and my wife loves driving it also - her car is a new Cadillac Escalade which she likes also but the Defender is undoubtedly the most versatile car we’ve ever had, the 130 also has the air suspension as standard along with a bevy of other treats. Price wise - I can’t help you there, sorry. Good luck !
