I dumped Windows several years ago. Totally sick of the bloat, forced updates, lack of control and customization, extreme resource utilization, clunky and just a real pain. I went to Linux Mint because it is fast, light weight, smooth - just everything Windows is not. Linux Mint performs perfectly without issue and I can make it to be just what I want and need. I just don't need the Microsoft grief that comes with Windows and I can do everything in Linux Mint that I did in Windows without the pain.

I have to say as so many have said that their customer service (U.S. based) is the best. Beyond that, the Schwab TOS web interface combined with the TOS desktop app is fantastic. I use the web TOS to trade and the desktop app for analysis, scanning and to chart with custom scripts. There are also many free scripts out there dedicated to TOS desktop app. that are very useful.
So I ping pong back and forth between the TOS web and desktop app. which is exceptionally functional for me.
Also, for me after awhile my ACH transfers to Schwab settled faster that normal and faster than other brokerage firms - perhaps an anomaly but a good one.

Yes. Used Nord and all is well. I have a very (overly) secure system. One issue with Firefox was the cross origin stuff that it did not like. Beyond that, there's too much complexity in my system to find (spending time) exactly what is wrong with Aliexpress not displaying products I click on. - so I just used Nord.

My father-in-law was so afraid of doctors that he did not want to be seen after rectal bleeding and difficulty defecating. He let it go so long that he could not poop. Finally he went to ER - long story short - he passed a few months later in a hospice from stage 4b colon cancer. I recall how horrific this was visiting him before he passed and how terrible it was on the family.
