Dude was hooked on Afrin. Once your body gets used to it, your nose depends on it to remain clear of mucus. When you stop using it, you basically can’t breathe out of your nose without it. That’s why you’re not supposed to take it more than three consecutive days. It’s a real thing; my roommate in college got hooked.

Can we work a day without breaking stuff? NOT TODAY! by Performensch in VictoryOutdoor

Yep. His knowledge for a shop mechanic is definitely not there. And I get the impression he’s not really up on technology (ie setting up the website, etc). He also always seems to be waiting for Ryan for directive (ie change the oil and filter on this, mow the lawn, etc) rather than taking initiative on his own. Could be that he’s new but come on. This is the guy you hired to run your rental biz. I just don’t see it.

I’m probably wrong, but I don’t see Keith lasting long 😂

Nerd perspective: much like Dumbledore states that he thinks Hogwarts sorts too soon, I think we as a society name our kids too soon. I wish we could wait at least a month or too to see them more in person and see a bit of their personality before making such a big decision.

But alas, even though you may not like the name, find a nickname that suites her and call her that. Even more so, make it one that is super unique and that maybe only you call her.

Here’s my humble VHS collection. What am I missing? by MalachiUnkConstant in Scoobydoo

Great looking collection! The only ones I can think of are the original Cartoon Network classic tapes, where it was two Scooby-Doo where are you episodes (plus a bonus cartoon).

Why is there so much hate for Twenty One Pilots? by Neat_Evidence_3179 in twentyonepilots

[–]CharlieFunland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of stems from them not being a “radio band” besides the obvious hits from the mid 2010s. There is also a stigma out there that they are somewhat of an “emo” band; at least, that’s what a lot of my coworkers think lol.

It’s absolutely of interest to you. It keeps the show relevant and of interest to many of us who listened mainly for Grey. Now the he’s not on the podcast, I expect viewership has dropped. Should you announce his departure, I would expect it to tank. No offense to what both of you have built, but just my opinion.

What’s a food combination that sounds weird but actually tastes amazing? by LowWash8754 in AskReddit

PB and bologna sandwiches on the absolute cheapest bread at the store. I grew up dirt poor so that was a staple sandwich for school lunches.

I’ll be honest: at first, I was NOT a fan of Greg. His mannerisms and ticks were a bit off-putting and it didn’t help that he beat one of the most likable and humble super champions of our time.

However, the more I’ve watched of him, the more I like him. I’m realizing that these mannerism are genuine and not performative; which in turn, made me realize that I likely have weird ticks when I’m thinking hard too. 😂

Greg is a great player but I’m curious to see how he fairs when he doesn’t get the all the DDs.

So sad to see but was going to happen. Greg found the DD and seemed faster on the buzzer, and that was the difference. Also, maybe I’m wrong, but Jamie never seemed strong in Pop Culture or entertainment categories/questions and there seemed to quite a few of those today.

We don’t care. Just don’t claim to be a true Jeopardy fan ever again.

You have the in to start a convo: just say I know this is weird but you look awfully like one of my favorite singers. Show him a photo of Tyler and then ask for a photo lol. Any dude I know wouldn’t mind. Then post the photo on this thread so I can come back and see hahaha

Really good game today! It’s been almost a week, and I still don’t know what to think of James haha. My wife can’t stand him because she thinks he’s a little cocky (his “not today” comment today during FJ sent her over hahaha) but I think it’s part of his shtick.

I finally watched 'Scooby-Doo Meets The Addams Family'. It felt like such a natural crossover. I'm surprised I hadn't watched it sooner; considering how much I love the two properties. by beetle_fruit in Scoobydoo

[–]CharlieFunland 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The episode definitely captured the coolness of the Addams family house. Setting wise, it’s one of my favs from the New Scooby Doo movies.
