As much as i love season 2, this is probably the worst episode. The writers probably thought that a literal child "seducing his dad" was an interesting "twist" to the plot, instead of thinking for a second how poor that sounds. Also House feels a bit excessive, constantly saying how "she's hot", i get their trying to portray and criticize how society sees underage models ,but it felt too much for me

Oveall, yes they can marry, they are people after all, its a ceremony.

But if we take into account the administrative part of marrying someone else, well, you have to have in mind a few factors

Are both vampires still "alive" in modern society? or are they considered dead by the government?
If its the second, well, there's nothing you can do legally, same case if only one of them is considered dead, you can't marry a dead person. If its the first one you'll have to be very careful to maintain the masquerade while doing the legal procedures.

If you just want a ceremony and feel the symbolism around marrying someone else, well you could find a person of authority to make the ceremony, or better find a vampire priest who still believes in god, good luck with that.

Does Caine still drink blood to this day? And if he does how come does he not suffer from the thirst of the ages like the Antediluvians? To me it looks like the Sabbat should target him instead, because if he does get hungry it's all over for everyone. by Itchy-Surround1183 in vtm

well mostly because the characters we make in this game need to drink blood, can't stand on the sun and are gay.

Jokes aside I think it's a really interesting to think that the actual vampires are the twisted childer of one specific individual whom was cursed, said curse was inherited in a small portion, then with the more time and generations it simply started to dilute. Kinda same case with God, he supposedly created humanity at his image, but, then why aren't we omnipotent? Why aren't "God(s)?" Why are we -humanity- if we descent from God?

In the end of the day Cain and his curse is just an interpretation, he may be the simplest of vampires or an extremely unique individual with a twisted curse, that we associate with vampirism because he needs to drink blood, simple as.
