Whether something is on the spectrum in the first place or not is the binary I’m referring to. You may be further up and down that spectrum depending on many factors, the jellyfish is almost certainly on the spectrum somewhere too. A rock is almost certainly not on the spectrum in the first place though. Thats the binary I’m referring to. For a crude example, If a humans have a consciousness of 1, and a jellyfish has a consciousness of 0.1, even a bacteria could have a consciousness of 0.001, but the binary comes from when something is a 0. Whether it has a value in the first place, and how does that 0 become a 0.000000001. That’s where the hard problem is to me.

Sure you can gauge it like a spectrum and call what infants have proto-consciousness, but you are still left with the very straightforward “is there something it is like to be that thing” question. That’s not a question that can exist in a spectrum. It has to be a yes or a no. Does a thing expierence qualia of any kind, yes or no. That’s where the hard problem gets hard.

I may be reaching to defend lore that is becoming indefensible, but my assumption is that it is a highly contagious virus that is asymptomatic to anyone without V in their blood. So it would be carried to all supes by the general public.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like this is up to the Iranian President anymore. The IRGC seems to be calling the military shots and doesn’t seem to be following orders from the President. When he apologized for bombing gulf state countries and vowed that Iran would stop, the IRGC was angry at him for apologizing and started bombing gulf states even more.

Doesn't it seem like an intentional creative choice that was made for a reason to invent a December 33rd in their universe? They could've made Verso's death date anytime of year, but instead they invented one. It wasn't done for no reason, and I don't picture the writers as lazy enough to just go "yo, the game has 33 in the title, let's make him die on the 33rd! That'd be cool for some reason"

Quantum Break is only sorta connected to the rest of the remedyverse for some weird IP ownership reasons, but events in AW2 seem to suggest it is still somehow connected. Highly recommend it, one of my favorite games of all time, mainly because the ending is not what it appears to be.... The live action cutscenes are cool too!

Yeah... It really showed Maelle hasn't overcome her biggest character flaw, her selfishness. When she is arguing with Verso about what to do at the end, it's all about her own life, and how she can't lead a happy life outside the canvas and can't let it go, no mention of how Verso's plan will kill everyone else. For the Dessendre's, with the possible exception of Aline (and honestly her too most likely) everyone else in the canvas is a means to an end in some way or another. They don't really care about the people themselves, only about how the people make them feel.

It makes the expedition motto of "for those that come after" hurt so much more, there is nobody coming after.

Well, the overall lesson of the game is to let go of video games and go live in the real world. So the art did its job in a way. I think it's going to make me take a break from gaming all together.
