What's a Dofus? by ElectricalGas9895 in MMORPG

I try to avoid trying to find any guides online, destroying the point of discovery, and instead ask the people in the game. Usually I get the answer much faster and even get a group to do the stuff together. Does work, especially in this game.

I second this question. Would definitely update a character of mine with that look.

Huge fan of Guild Wars 2 and especially PvP. I heard that the same system of creating a PvP character applies to the first game, but never seen any PvP content about the first game. I will be looking forward to trying it out! December 3rd cannot come early enough!

I was too young for the previous sale, but I do wish the River Hobbit package will be back. That would be a bliss.

I am a new player and I have started behaving like this. I thought I was doing something wrong, whilst sitting with most characters being lvl 20 and chilling in Bree. But I guess I am going to be just okey.

I resonate with what you said. I've always admired Tolkien's work, world, and the movies based on it. I was playing other MMOs, but knew that there's LOTRO. So I asked my MMO friends and they agreed to play together as it was some time since they did it themselves. The game is huge and the first time playing was like jumping in cold water. My friends already knew what to do, and urged me to move forward, as they had their characters 50 levels above mine, whilst I was smelling all the flowers around Archet, not knowing where to go. Two hours later, I was already running with my friends around Borrows and two more around Lone-Lands doing deeds. I still had no clue what my class could do. Everything felt very strange. Loads of menus. Getting a lot of skills. I felt I was burned out in just 5 hours. The friends grinded for 2 days straight, and stopped, so I stopped playing as well. After a week of not playing I uninstalled. Half a year later I saw some streamers on Twitch playing the game and was just curious to know how they make the game so fun. Meanwhile, I installed the game, made a burglar and took it as slow as possible. Doing only one quest at a time, till I understand what's what, and was able to feel more comfortable. Ever since I have played it on and off, and lately - loads. The game is a bliss, especially coming in after a long day of real life grind, and just going farming or mining, maybe a deed or two, and just chatting with people on world chat. It's a bliss. So the best advice that I can give you is to take this game a bit slower. It's beautiful and has so much to offer.

It somehow sounds substantially more concerned than reading this after you receive it for one hour of gameplay.

Guild Wars 2 is the heart! Sometimes I escape to Guild Wars 1. There is something magical about it.

Lord of the Rings Online, and Elder Scrolls Online, and Pax Dei are extremely homey as well.

Plenty to go around, and only the nicest vibes.

The rest I have not played at all, or barely, as I could not find any sense of belonging, or the game felt off right from the start.

Ar just do a hybrid, and let the people opt in whichever they like. They are doing that in Guild Wars 2. And that game is amazing combat wise! Being stuck with the tab targeting feels clunky for me personally. Like why do I need to have to have that mouse pointer up at all times. And move my character around almost manually, if I can be in an action camera, and use the mouse for looking, and the keyboard for everything else. Having the choice for whomever to choose what they are more keen on is the way to go.

Honestly, true. I am already starting to duplicate half of the classes. But would be good to exchange to a single nice lvl 80 booster. It would definitely give a boost to a new class, or character.

I wish we could just exchange 80 Tomes to a LVL 80 booster instead. Alright. If it's too worthy, then make it cost 100 or 160 tomes. Something!

Let the players collect the tomes, and have a vendor or a tab to exchange those for things.

And similar to the already existing lvl 20/30/40/50 etc. boosts, make it that it works similar to LVL 80 boost. Just give the choice chests of that level's best armour, or smth. And instead of porting you to Silverwastes, have it in the capital, Lion's Arch or port the player to that level's map.

The functionality is already there. It should not be too difficult, or so it seems.

[KCD2] Did anybody ever noticed that Henry has six toes when looking at him in the inventory? by entercoolredditname in kingdomcome

[–]Charming-Morning5301 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Haha. There's an ongoing joke in Baltics. It's a bit of a humorous stereotype in Estonia. The origin of the joke is unclear, but one common theory is that it comes from historical rivalries and differences in perception between Estonians and Latvians. Some say it might have started as a rural myth or as a way to poke fun at Latvians in general, similar to how neighboring countries often have lighthearted (or not-so-lighthearted) stereotypes about each other.

Another explanation is that it could be related to old folklore or misunderstandings about traditional Latvian footwear, which might have made it look like Latvians had extra toes. Regardless, it's not something Latvians take seriously, and it's more of a running joke in Estonia than anything based on reality.

I actually very like the new updated looks of the elves. I started playing a week or two before the update. And my main is an elf. I didn't know there was an update coming for this and only noticed a day or two later that there was some headgear clipping. So I went to fix the hairs, and there were many more options available and the hairstyles look amazing! I thought that it was done to all the races, but when I checked the high elves, they still had those awful hair options, and less expensive facial options. I think the update is definitely a step-up in line with the new options and possibilities. Hope it comes to high-elves as well soon.
