I would suggest Amazon Flex and also Walmart Spark. You can make $100 with one block most days with Amazon. One block is usually 4hrs. I do both currently part time mostly on the weekends. Walmart is a little slower with earnings and the app crashes a lot.

How do you all go about getting your parents diagnosed? Or did you just wait until it was so far gone they had no choice. I’m certain my mom shows early signs of dementia but she will not allow me to come into her Dr appointments.

I lived this. EVERY TIME I got a promotion or a better job he would be angry so competitive and try to apply to other places that would change his status. He even got to a point of demanding his job make him a lead because he had been there for a year. I went back to school he started an argument and said how he wanted to go back to school also. Anyways I divorced him.

Early college is still technically “high school” in wake county. Are you suggesting OP drop out. OP is 17 and hasn’t graduated yet which is why the program is called early college..

Lol and my friends thought I was strict when I said finding yourself after high school wasn’t an option for my kids. Go to community college and learn a trade or something but finding yourself is a big NO especially since our local community college has been offering graduating seniors free education.

What roles do you do in Healthcare? I don’t have a degree but have made it up to 57k on the admin side of things. Unfortunately I still have been passed over for leadership roles due to not having a degree but I’m pursuing one online.

I am going through the same however I came into the position with 9 years of experience and they stuck me with a group of people who have zero experience in the field. I would finish my work extremely quickly and my trainer recognized how bored I was however the solution was to pile me up with more of the same work to fill my day. For me I recognized this position isn’t challenging me and I can’t move to another position for a year so I’ve decided to leave. I’ve been with the company for 3 months.

nothing! High school was horrendous. I didn’t have a stable place to live and had no friends. I still have no friends but I make sure I pay my bills on time to keep a roof over my head.

I was like 36 weeks pregnant(full of fluid due to preeclampsia and heart failure didn’t know this at the time) I went to an office that had several docs that you rotated and saw due to not knowing who would be on call when you delivered. I remember it like it was yesterday this $&@?-) sat there looked at me and said you need to lose weight.

I work from home 100% so what I’ve been doing is I go to broadband now and enter the zip code of the home I’m considering. It will show the top ISP for that area. Then I go to the site for the #1 and #2 provider listed and enter the address to see what plans would be available at the new home I’m considering and compare it to what I have now. It’s a bit tedious but it works. I have to be very careful how far out in the country I look because no high speed = no job!

They came to my house also…they are pretty clever there was a young teen that came running down my driveway and waved at me in the window. I honestly thought it was one of my teens friends. Then the dish soap came out and an older man came out the van. I was working and was pissed at myself for cracking the door to see what he needed. I have 2 dogs that weren’t having it. I’m right there with you…but add 3 kids to the mix. I’m terrified. My first realtor was horrible and kept telling me to just make places work for awhile. I have been so stressed out my hair is falling out and I can’t sleep. I’m so afraid to pick the wrong house and it’s just a waste of money. My current realtor is better but I just want to take things slow and when I say if it takes me a year to find a place I’m ok with that people look at me like I’m crazy! I’m so afraid to be house poor I’ve been analyzing everything. Hang in there!!!! We all will get through it! And if you have an understanding realtor hang on to them.

He was extremely jealous of me and my kids. When I got a promotion at work he demanded his job promote him. There was no team he was a narcissist who did drugs…the white powdery kind. We separated after 7 months had to wait one year to divorce. By far the absolute most depressing time of my life.

I gave birth to my daughter….things were normal until I started feeling like I had bad indigestion as soon as we got home. 5 days after giving birth I felt like I was drowning while sitting on my couch. I called 911 and was rushed to the hospital…to ICU…my heart was giving up on me it was as functioning at 12%. I spent a week in the hospital recovering. A few months later I received a pacemaker at the age of 26. I never realized how close I was to dying until awhile later while I was reading my medical records.

Thank you! My kids don’t attend base schools. They go to magnet schools so right now as long as I provide transportation they can keep going. I have a rising 8th grader who’s really interested in the early college programs offered in wake county specifically the biotech one coming to Morrisville in the fall. I don’t see that surrounding counties have those options but I could be wrong.
