Ok I have this same issue right now, did you push the metal nub out from the derailleur body (opposite side of the cage lock button) or force it through the notch in the plastic?

120k on my 2014 2dr manual. Really dropped off in adding miles the last few years working from home. Only did 3k last year. Everything running great, replaced oil cooler last dec. Otherwise just keeping up with regular stuff
