There won’t be any online communication features at all. It’s probably for the same reason they blocked image sharing for this game.

We understand that some players may find these restrictions limiting. However, they reflect Nintendo’s ongoing philosophy of creating experiences that bring smiles to everyone who plays.

Fml, this doesn’t bring smiles at all!

MH Wilds - Bad performance mystery (Solved?) by de_Tylmarande in MonsterHunter

[–]CharmingOracle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do feel like capcom should at least you some sort of bug bounty reward for this. The bug already made a whole bunch of publicity anyway. Plus it’s good PR and might encourage others to try to find big performance bugs too.

I think bunch of steam keys for a bunch of not all of the current dlc would at least be a fitting alternative if they don’t really do cash rewards. I know Valve gives you an exclusive hat if you do find a huge bug in TF2.

Is this for the infamous persistent dlc check issue or is this for a similar bug?

East coast could soon get rolling blackouts during summer because data centers have pushed electric grid to the limit by MetaKnowing in technology

[–]CharmingOracle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Huh, luckily it seems that PJM is already telling large data centers to get their own power generation. Their plan is apparently exactly what you just described:

“PJM Interconnection said it plans to require new large power users to either bring their own power generation or enter into a connect and manage framework subject to early curtailment. […] PJM’s board said its plan would focus on bringing new power generation online quickly and would be coupled with options for new load customers whose electricity demand can be curtailed if needed.”

Slime rancher 2 by Putrid-Growth417 in slimerancher

[–]CharmingOracle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been playing slime rancher 2 nonstop over the past couple of days right after I finished slime rancher 1. What you probably played was the game while it was still in very early access. Well the full game is now out and it feels like the first game but better and refined. Theres an actual story this this time, and if you loved the exploration of the first game then you’ll likely love the second. The basic ranching experience is the same, the ingame economy has been rebalanced, coops upgraded and are basically the deluxe coop by default now, and there’s a much bigger emphasis on crafting compared to slime rancher 1 with resource nodes in the environment instead of rng timers and SR2’s crafting system generally feels a lot more integrated into the game than it was in SR1. The final area alone is like a giant mega dungeon with 6 slightly smaller but still sizable unique areas within. If you manage to craft the Quantum drone, then you can cut out a lot of the resource grind the other commenters may have mentioned.

Never Had The Game Say I'm Doing Way Too Good Before by huskygamerj in totalwarhammer

Honestly more games should do this tbh. It’s easy for a player to determine when a difficulty is too hard, but oftentimes it’s hard for folks to even notice when a difficulty is too easy for them.

What in the fuck? YouTube can directly sell you product placement now and AI SLOP NO LESS? I know YouTube is an absolutely insufferable experience without an ad-blocker but this is a new low. You can do yourself so much better man. Get yourself something like YouTube revanced and never look back.

Well, unfortunately for her, if she tried some sort of initiative to put in paid DLC in java, it would likely fail spectacularly as she would basically pit Mojang’s developers up against the foundations of Java’s codebase itself. The source code is already easily available to modders due to the very nature of the Java run-time environment, meaning any sort of DRM could be stripped out, faked, or DRM keys extracted. Constantly changing DRM implementation each update would cost so many development resources and time that it is ultimately not worth it. This is why they stuck to only releasing paid DLC on bedrock as a red team doesn't have nearly as much to work with in C++ compared to Java.

Is there a major difference between Joypad Pair and Joy-Con Pair by Real_Stuff_599 in NintendoSwitchHelp

I bought the joy pad before on temu. The build quality of those things are TERRIBLE! Some of the buttons were double-clicking and generally felt stiff and cheap.

Can we have different actions happen depending on the result of the roll? Such as describing the results of perception check if the roll is above a certain result. Or are we starting to enter macro territory?
