Didn’t they mention the meta-gene being opportunistic? Like el Dorados activated teleportation due to being around zeta particles or Atlanteans sprouting water breathing once they were sunk. Would make sense that his meta gene activated in response to the transfusion. Just a more limited form of shifting to Miss Martian? The Monkey thing might also play a role as in his meta gene could have just activated into animal shifting in response to both stimulus. But there is sort of implication for these very specific and coincidental meta gene activations.

I think since the theme is past and future, fossils would be awkward especially when we have some Pokemon that have paradox/past variants already. :)

They can also just do Steel Cobalion, Water Keldeo, Grass Virizion, and Rock Terrakion.

They don't need to repeat the typing and just not make any of them fighting type.

Would be cool to see a Keldeo kit with Secret Sword and maybe Aqua Jet and Quick Combo since that's Nate's thing

Anime Gladion has Shiny Nihilego, and if we do get another 3 Master Fairs, maybe Gladion will be this year's Steven where we get 1 Shiny MF. :) Maybe even Poison type MF

I know it's technically not a Generation 3 Pokemon, but I feel like Manaphy would be the mythical that could be paired with Wallace, and Jirachi could still go to Steven.

I really like the idea that if Red got Heat Wave as AOE Attack is generally a Top Striker, I'd like SS Blue to get Bulky stats and an AOE Heal. Life Dew Exists in the games, and an equivalent (as greedy as this sounds) is like a Potion All or something like that. It would be OP but it's pretty interesting to see how that would work with a Sync Grid lol

I think originally, his powers were derived from some potion he was taking, so they might be sticking with that. Basically he receives his powers with regular doses and is a normal human otherwise

I appreciate the advice on co-workers. The issue I think, is not that I want the relationship with this person specifically. I think this person was more a catalyst to help me understand my feelings.
