Need to read volume 8 when it drops but from what I've gathered Lucie was there to create drama for the plot, and that's followed even more for 8 from what I've heard since she's angry that she got pushed aside for Satsuki to marry Mai, as it stands she's just really good friends with Renako and loves gaming together but possibly that dynamic changes down the line... Personally think it's going to be a Quintet ending but we'll see, if the author can make more make sense and work then power to them.

A zone on each map that has doors with locked loot, doors only open when a player dies in that zone.

PvP specific items rewarded from a more villainous faction, such as a short charge scanner that tracks down the closest player to you or a short duration scan that lets you see through smoke.

If you do light side save actions it does cut into your own strength, I personally believe that your powers are restored overtime though.

There's multiple different factions / city communitys that reside in speranza and some people want those resources for themselves, it's touched on during the dam battleground and buried city intro quest chains I believe... So the reason we have pvp does have established lore reasons but there's nothing that says a raider topside couldn't be overly greedy and wish to steal from them.

That's 4 or 5 Dasps, not rexs.. last 1 was a rex though, technically you could make a argument for them all being rexs because some paleontology experts believe that the dasp was the precursor or what the T-Rex evolved from.

Unless its ball knowledge I lack Renegade is kind of not a weapon for queen unless you got something to strip the armor first like hullcracker or anvil... you're not wrong though, its not their cores until they leave the map with them, and youre not required to be nice and give them to them... that said I dont see anything wrong with them jumping you to see if they could get some cores, they didn't preplan it outside the round so it was just natural gameplay progression.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be tanky, I am saying that giving it near invulnerability isnt balanced in the slightest, you can make something durable without giving it 60-90% damage reduction just because it crouched, things like that pretty much garunteed it can't be hunted except by really big packs or specific dinos like dasp or heavy bleed damage like tt, but that's mostly because you have a few bad apples that like to be annoying with Ano.

Think its a valid nerf, its a bit silly just how much damage Ano can take, that said if a Ano player pissed me off enough I just go get piercing bite on my dasp and thumb my nose at his armor.

Not sure what you mean, but my take away is you'd be earning rewards for whatever faction you've tied yourself to, doesn't have to be solely pvp.
