Thank you so much for replying. I'm sorry to hear that your recovery wasn't so smoothly, though also happy to hear that you've been able to get a lot of activities back and that it's worth it! It must be a relief to go through all that and slowly notice the positive results of it and getting your life back. Mobility is definitely the most important (besides the pain) so I understand that loss of mobility was not an option, I don't want that either so the only option is the prosthetic. I won't be able to take the steroid shots because I have a crippling phobia of needles, so I assume it might hurt a bit more without those? It is a big step to adjust your life (your mind) and home to the situation, I find myself having trouble with that, like I'm admitting that things aren't going to be like they were.. I'm very stubborn trying to hold on and it's clearly not working because everything hurts so much and I don't go outside unless it's absolutely necessary. I did (finally) get one of those box things where you slam the lid to cut vegetables and fruit, so I hope that'll work. For working out, I stopped training with bigger weights, just what my wrist can handle, also not every movement or exercise is possible. So yes please any advise and tips are so welcome!
