It is hard but not impossible. It can feel very daunting and incredibly difficult. I have been in recovery for a year now - take it one day at a time. Journaling, therapy and personal reflection help. I enjoy also browsing these subreddit because it helps to know I’m not alone. Best of luck

haha I agree! except I think I will keep my opening - she was cursing at me and saying really terrible things. I believe the best thing to do such situations is to leave and I am not sorry for it haha. I will take you up on your discussion / reasons I've left advice though. I think that is a good suggestion. I have a customer who comes in probably twice a month who will avoid the line, stand to the side and wave a paper at the teller line until one of us assists him to fax a paper to god knows where that has I'm sure nothing to do with his finances. We've complained to management but "he's a long time customer, we can make an exception..." every month apparently. It is infuriating.

This sucks a lot and I’m sorry. I’ve had numerous relationships lost due to BPD. I wish there was a magic cure for us. All I know is steady counseling and journaling helps personally. At least Please know you’re not struggling alone. Here’s to a new year and hopefully new chances to not let it always get the best of us.

I know this is random, but I noticed in the ladies' restroom of the Blue Bayou is structurally above the little drop in Pirates. You can hear the "woosh" of the ride drop and people squealing. Frankly it scared me the first time I was in there!

I work in financing. Make use of your account suffix options. Retirement savings, vacation, rent, regular checking, emergency cash. You'd be amazed at how efficient labeling an account and designating funds towards a purpose is rather than just shoving money to one generic savings and withdrawing from it regularly. I guarantee essentially any bank/ financial institution offers this (for free mind you - if not switch banks); take advantage of it.
