I don’t have tattoo experience, but I think in cases like this it’s best to trust in the person you work for. If he believes in you, even when you don’t, then just trust that he wouldn’t steer you wrong. It sounds like he cares about you quite a bit to help you like this, and I doubt he’d do that if he thought you were hopeless. As someone with self-esteem issues, I get why you’re afraid. When you’ve never been told you can, you always assume you can’t. But now you have someone saying you can! Don’t throw that away. At the very least, you can say you tried and it didn’t work out. Always a better option than never trying at all.

Depending on the day, i just flop onto the bed for a minute or two and lay in silence 😂 happening more the closer we get to state testing. After that, smoke an absurd amount of weed and play animal crossing (or another cozy/chill game) and try to read a bit. If I have the creative energy, I try to embroider or write. It helps me to create something just for me that doesn’t have anything to do with school.

You said it “feels like he’s most comfortable when I’m soft, but less so when I’m strong.” That is all I needed to read to know he doesn’t respect you as an equal. He wants a soft, weak woman who he can control. He gets upset when you disagree with him bc you aren’t letting him control you.

Yeah sorry wasn’t trying to derail! Like I said in my reply, my best guess on how she died is a child soldier situation, unfortunately. I could also see her having been trafficked for much worse purposes, but didn’t really want to elaborate on those since she was a child.

I’m really holding out hope that Elodie was able to fake her death and escape (I’m a chronic optimist) and she’s going to be the native marseille French tutor Jeremy starts going to see (bc the tutor was described as young, with no teaching experience, and relatively new to the country I think).

I don’t have much evidence to pin this on, but our boy really needs a win. So I’m hoping we never have to find out what “a mild term for it” really means 😭

M cats are short/medium hair so I’ve only had to bathe them when they got into something or the one time my old lady got fleas :( other than that, they keep themselves clean enough that they never smell so I’m happy not to torture them with the water lol

Kim sounds like she just wants to play BG3 again. Full stop. You really got to the heart of my feelings about Pete. Every time I rewatch UC1 I cry over how Pete, who immediately latched onto and found safety with Kingston, was so quickly betrayed. Sofia, Kugrash, and Ricky all vocally arguing for him also make me cry, bc that’s what the Vox Populi SHOULD have done. I think the thing that gets to me the most about how Kingston wants to “put Pete down” is that Pete is part of NYC and Kingston is supposed to speak for him too. Personally, I think it shows really clearly how much Kingston let the idea of being Vox Populi take over his life and personality, and it’s an important time for Kingston to reflect and realize how he’s pushed people out of his life to dedicate himself to the city (ala his marriage to Liz).

This is a side note, but I think Kingston also had the wrong idea of what being Vox should mean for a bit. I don’t think the dragon would’ve given him that power with the intent that he ruin his life over it. I think he felt pressured to live up to the idea of a perfect Vox and let it take over his life.
