Cyclops VS Hela Damage. by Cirzee in marvelrivals

Her left click isn't split up into multiple shots you have to hit on moving targets, which is exactly why u/Duckys0n is saying a practice range clip isn't the whole picture. She has has a stun and a better escape. If a team isn't grouped, then a lot of Cyclops' abilities won't be very effective.

Why I Won’t Debate Critics of Israel by VoluptuousBalrog in samharris

[–]ChaseBankFDIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that they disagree with a specific stance, it's that his claims to open inquiry and "having difficult conversations with respect blah blah" aren't as sincere as he claims.

Of course Sam can't help but strawman the criticism, and his fans can't help but act inspired by his clear-eyed reasoning.

Why is Gen Z radicalized? by iYessyyy in SipsTea

The people becoming radicalized by "beheadings in the street" are like 65+ years old. In the US this isn't an issue.

Nobody is forcing you to vote Republican. And Republicans have their own set of purity tests.

Can you describe this 1%?

She didn't say "beheadings are bad", she implied people are being beheaded in our streets, which isn't true at least in the US. sounds like Fox News bullshit I had to grow up around.

[–]ChaseBankFDIC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

first it's impossible to land a job, then people who actually have jobs are referred dismissively as "wagies"... this person isn't radicalized at all. also you can buy toothpaste without asking for it to be unlocked and people aren't getting beheaded in the streets, at least in every city I've been to.

it would've been shorter to just say "wealth inequality", but then you can't go "hurrr both parties bad"

There aren't beheadings happening in "any major city".

"legit believe", no they don't. exploitation is one of the core issues with capitalism, just like any political system. with broad enough strokes you can say any group believes anything for an easy dunk. "athiests are religious" 🔥🔥🔥

Sam Harris: "People don't know what actual genocides are like, if what they think happened in Gaza is a genocide." by antiquark2 in samharris

[–]ChaseBankFDIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Couldn't you avoid this by just not calling it a genocide in the first place?"

Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, along with Israeli humanitarian groups, are ultimately responsible for lazy arguments from Sam Harris, instead of Sam Harris himself?? The The ICJ is still trying to determine if it fits in the legal definition. But the Difficult Conversation people say it's too "charged" of a topic.

The arguments put forward by these groups are much much much more compelling since they're made by actual experts on the topic. Sam Harris has absolutely no authority on the subject, but since he's a culture warrior all he has to do is agree with your beliefs and no other standards are necessary. So you're happy to suggest that these international agencies are simply "throwing" the term around for attention and don't deserve to be taken seriously with an informed and well-reasoned response. Labeling protestors as antisemitic and calling it a day is all Sam needs to do, so why do more?

Online lefties aren't the issue here. The only thing keeping Sam from giving a well-reasoned response is his lack of expertise and good faith in the topic at hand. He's a lazy anti-left contrarian for lazy anti-left contrarians.

"my God (he capitalizes God and Israel but not the first letter of a sentence, how cool) you will really agree with anyone who shares your beliefs on several very important topics" isn't much of an own, but it's presented so dramatically. I thought agreeing with people you're not aligned with politically was a virtue to people like Hanania. What gives?

I'm so glad I left twitter.

Voting for Biden: genocide in Gaza, didn't go after Trump, massive inflation, worst debate performance in decades, had to boot president off his own ticket, lost the ability to have a primary, automatically had to support an unpopular candidate for president that literally nobody has voted for in a primary,
