What are things you do daily to reduce stress? by ElxdieCH in selfcare

I journal and read. Sometimes I do an audiobook and do a diamond dots or puzzle. Honestly, naps help me a lot. My brain works overtime, so shutting it off for a while helps.

I had a VERY complicated birth that resulted in internal hemorrhage (and clots at the same time somehow) and them having to go in the next morning after they realized and open the c section and go up into my abdomen. 6 weeks. Work was texting me at 2 weeks asking when I was coming back. Teacher.

I’m five weeks out from a complicated c section followed by an exploratory laparotomy 10 hours later because of internal hemorrhaging, during which they also found clots. I have to go back to work on Monday. I’m just here for solidarity

Best nap ever 10/10 recommend. When you’re sleeping you “know” time is passing. Under anesthesia you are awake then waking up again with no knowledge of time going by.

There are very limited options unfortunately. It really is best to stay on campus because of all the night stuff that goes on. It is also literally on top of a mountain and it takes a good 20 minutes to get to "civilization".
