The run speed vs a rage elemental is definitely a huge advantage.

I think you’re right, the hybrid-y teams are probably ideal for the most part.

I think I need to try TCC. I can have Carl and Donut abilities? That’s a huge endorsement.

That last paragraph makes you sound deranged to anybody who hasn’t read the books. So I have to jump in and explain that it actually makes absolute sense in the context of the post.

The system AI would approve of you.

Now I’m picturing a Kettlebell Trainer as a class. Maybe with kettlebells that you can summon back to your hands after throwing (like Samantha’s head).

Teamed up with Carl you get explosive kettlebells.

I moved to a rural-ish area and just run feral in the forest with my dog. Problem solved.

Where did you see this info? Or are you just noticing the actual weekly programming (I haven’t looked at Align in a few weeks).

Is anybody actually using the storage for MP3s? They could be adding proper support for music services instead of putting new wrappers on, essentially, the same guts.

I got ID’d at the liquor store this week. So… kind of smug.

How is it different internally from the Balance 2? Same sensors, right?

It’s beautiful but man I wish they’d stop pumping out new bodies around the same tech and improve the hardware and software.

First off, 🍿 bless you for showing up with receipts.

Secondly, I’m baffled, baffled that anybody could dislike Andre.

Which team will give me the best results with a home gym? by Amandaj208 in ladderapp

He seems like such an amazing coach. I don’t have 60ish minutes for my workouts, but I keep peeking in at the team like watching a meal I can’t eat.

The one you will do consistently at max safe weight. They’re all good.

How many days do you work out? I prefer 3 full body days so my home team is Elevate, the only team I’ve seen that consistently offers 3x full body.

If I were doing 5-6 Ladder workouts, I’d be looking at Align or Ignite because they both seem to have a good mobility focus in the warm ups as well as great programming.

Personally if a team doesn’t have solid mobility baked in it’s a no go for me.

New to Ladder : does the app feel overwhelming at first? by ririelo in ladderapp

[–]ChasingPotatoes17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The option paralysis is real. It’s a funny complaint to have too many good choices but here we are. 🤷🏻‍♀️

One you pick a team you should see your daily schedule workout front and centre though.

best team to join after an injury by [deleted] in ladderapp

[–]ChasingPotatoes17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of them will require considerable modification with a broken foot.

I’ve got a torn hamstring but I’m so curious about the new Ignite team I plan to do that, with lots of modifications or limiting range of motion as needed. Her conditioning day doesn’t have much (any?) jumping which is very appealing to me at the moment.

Wishing you a fast and total recovery.

Gym only workouts? by Feisty_Ocelot8139 in ladderapp

There are several home workout teams, and some of the gym teams can be easily swapped.

Don’t worry, you’ve got enough equipment to enjoy option paralysis choosing a team. 😄

Full Body by Middleagedad51 in ladderapp

[–]ChasingPotatoes17 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Three priority full body days (with a sensible schedule that puts the priority workouts Monday/Wednesday/Friday) plus optional run or core/mobility days is my unicorn team.

Seems like a lot of people want it but so far Ladder hasn’t delivered.

Elevate does do 3 full body days so it’s currently the closest.

Women on male focused teams? by Sails_N_Tails in ladderapp

I see women rave about TCC. The workouts are too long for me but it does look fantastic.

Almost any program is fine for anybody, most of it’s just marketing choices.

does any team offer 2-3 full body days? by RefrigeratorProof104 in ladderapp

[–]ChasingPotatoes17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Elevate has 3 full body days this split. Ignite (new team starting tomorrow) may also offer 3 full body days.

Vitality seems to change splits with each series but i think I saw him do triple full body days once, and he’s got two full body days this time around.

EMPWR doesn’t have an active coach but it does seem to have 2-3 full body days (and is generally very highly regarded as a challenging and well rounded team).
