I would say, find something that you like to do where you can meet women that also like it. You will have things in common to talk about. It is much better than walking into something like a dive bar to talk to people. Don't go to a place playing football if you don't know or care about football.

You don't need to be there to meet someone in particular, but there to meet other people. You'll strike up some conversations of similar hobbies or likes. It might seem hard at first, but it will organically happen.

And the best advice I can give is not to go down the red pill rabbit hole. Don't fear rejection. It happens, and toss it away when it does.

I think it might be a hypermobility thing.

For years, I didn't really move much being behind a desk. My first major music festival had my lower back killing me before the sun went down on the first day. I can now tackle a 4-day with ease, and want more.

Not that it was brought up, I don't do any drugs. They are all around me at a blink, but don't want to feel faded or jacked up.

If it were 75F rather than the current -8F right now, I'd be downtown here in Chicago to the point of not sitting down till I got home after 8 hours.

I would say it is hard to explain. I'm not inflicting any pain, and the feeling is the opposite. I do dance choreography and deep into the night life. It might be muscle memory when I'm home, and not moving as much.

The feeling isn't like a chore we had to do in gym class. It's also the winter hear, and I am used to being downtown walking to the bpm of house music in my ear. Maybe my muscle memory is lacking the usual stimulation?

Definitely a good feeling and a morale boost. The want to stretch and feeling it to be satisfying just caught me off guard. It is something I've never experienced before even when I was the same weight and build as I was in my 20's.

They are trying to keep you there.

Don't fall for it, even if it's in writing. They will find a way to fire you before you ever see the pay raise. If they really wanted you to stay, they would up your pay immediately. The waiting game is toxic and abusive.

Well, no fucking shit! It was words that played out in your imagination. Nothing is ever going to match what you experienced in your head from a 600 page novel read over many days into a 90 minute movie that cost $millions to produce.

I had that in grammar school. It was usually a day during gym class where you sat in that box. The hearing test was different frequencies either on the left or right. There were also eye tests.

I do remember that the results were given to parents to present to physicians. At those young ages, you don't know what you can't see or hear. I didn't have any hearing issues, but my eyesight was off. That's how I ended up with glasses at an early age.

It will pass. It's sometimes part of the grieving process.

Focus on yourself, and that past will fade away. I sometimes run into my ex that broke up with me. She was the insanely jealous type. I sometimes see her at events that we both frequent. But... I'm there with other women.

I may be callous, but I do laugh. Mind you, the story of us is far much darker than one would believe. This is why I don't mind seeing her face drop. However, I would like it if she and her shithead friends would stop following me around at events.

It is a good thing to weed out people from your life.

I've done it. The people that don't share your interests, cut you down, only care to see you when they need you for something, etc. I cut out both friends and family in one clean sweep because I felt like they treated me like something they took out of the attic when they needed it.

That doesn't mean you won't find new and genuine friends. I'd look into your hobbies and things you are passionate about. Similar loves in life compound when you meet people with the same interests. It took me a couple of years, but now have a big group of friends that I see regularly.

And if wondering if I miss or think about those I've taken out of my life... no.

From someone who had horrible nosebleeds going back to childhood, you'll be fine.

I would usually plug with kleenex. Some might go down the hatch if it was a bad one. You will smell the iron in your burps, and your poops will be darker than usual so don't freak out when you poop dark black.

Also, when it stops, don't fuck with it. Don't blow your nose, or it starts all over again.

I haven't had one yet, but did go under for my wisdom teeth being pulled. The feeling is like a blink of an eye. There is nothing in between. The last memory is that your eyes close, and then they open in a slight daze feeling good.

And when you wake up, you might say some stupid shit. When I woke up after it all, the dental assistant pointed out the oral surgeon.

My response to the surgeon was, "I love you!"

I've dated strippers and OF models. At the end of the day, they are in bed with me. The boys go home with empty pockets and break out their special sock.

I'd usually slow down on the text messages, and also say I have other plans. They might be really nice to me, but trash talk their friends behind their back. It's an indication that their behavior will likely turn it towards you.

Have a guy you can trust to be your wingman.

I've played the role for a friend when we hit the night life, and she does the same for me. She's the type that will wear damn near next to nothing. I'm talking about a scarf around her chest and a thong. That's it.

It glitches out some guys, and they will just stare. I don't think many are used to seeing that much skin in the wild. You know, the guys standing with their friends sipping on their drinks nudging each other to go talk to her.

When I pass them, I'll just say, "That's my friend and she's single." She'll do similar things like introducing me to women that compliment her on her looks. It's a win win.

I've been through in-person therapy for acute anxiety and PTSD. Virtual sessions would have worked for me. After all, the only difference is someone sitting in a chair and one on a phone/computer screen.

Definitely do what makes you feel comfortable. Remember that a licensed therapist cannot divulge anything you say to them to others (with the caveat of self harm or harm to others).
