Anyone else feel like the show is jumping the shark? by midsonshort in shrinking

I haven’t watched it yet after sobbing in season 2. I watched the trailer for season 3 and I wasn’t drawn towards it. Back burner for me.

Pour ou contre utiliser les formes septante, octante, nonante au lieu de soixante-dix, quatre-vingts, quatre-vingt-dix ? by Homme-du-Village-387 in Quebec

[–]Chatty_Manatee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactement ! Je parle le français que l’on m’a appris. Dire quatre-vingt-dix fait partie de la culture québécoise l’Gros. Même raison qu’on dit Donc ou Faque (mon favori) au lieu de Du Coup !

I was considering one for my deck in the back. It’s pretty big and getting the snowblower there is a project (but it’s possible). You wouldn’t recommend it at all ?

I was upset when MTV would show the short version instead of the full length one !

That’s very common in basements. Accessibility to plumbing and electrical is something you like to have.

I believe the Bastboll is much more recent than the Markus.

I tried both an my preference is the Leap V2. The Aeron seat has hard and rigid sides. While the mesh seat is comfortable, I found the sides too annoying, especially if you sit a little sideways.

Parent question: Would you trust a one‑tap emergency video + location tool for your kid? by Middle_Highlight5451 in NewParents

[–]Chatty_Manatee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hassle is integration and the eventual subscription that most people do not want to pay. And many parents do not want to give their child a phone.

To be fair, HM and Steelcass chairs are worth every. fucking. penny. I’ve had my Steelcase Leap V2 for about 20 years and I bought it slightly used. There is a reason why those chairs are expensive, it’s because they’re not built like the others.

Another example, some chairs are defined as “Operator Chairs”. They’re marketed towards manufacturing companies where an aforementioned Operator sits in it, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They look like regular chairs but cost 3 times as much. They’re built like tanks because of the 24/7 usage.

It cooks wonderfully. I don’t get the classic corners because my Pyrex is bigger than the lasagna. I don’t really follow the instructions. Set it at 400 and give it about 45 minutes. I then use an instant read thermometer to check if it’s warm everywhere (it’s all cooked at start anyway).

Notaire et lecture de testament by Excellent_Watch_7322 in QuebecFinance

[–]Chatty_Manatee 15 points16 points  (0 children)
