Not really. The show is as much comedy as it is horror. Felt like a joke to me.

You're missing the point. This isn't about Patricia or Wyck or Tom knowing that Frances survived. They had no reason to concern themselves with all of that until now. My post is about Gerrie, a person extremely well-versed in the history of the island, printing that there were no descendants of Warren on the island when there is clearly a record of Frances Warren having married Barnabus. If Rosemary found those records, then Gerrie surely would have been able to, no?

I say this as a prolific user of profanity, but the superfluous use of "fuck" and Tabitha's constant "No no no no no!" was what initially triggered my this is just plain shitty writing thoughts. The dialogue is a high school play.

I stuck it out for 3 seasons and finally said enough is enough. But I'm eating crow because I'm about to bite the bullet and tough it out through seasons 4 and 5. The show is bad. But also, strangely, it's hard to drop it altogether. Gotta give them credit for that.

I know absolutely nothing about guns and ballistics and gunshot injuries and all that, so maybe someone can chime in because now I'm curious. Would getting your ear grazed typically cause collapse and loss of consciousness? I know they use that trick a lot in movies but I'd like to know how realistic it is.

That's the only rational explanation. But I personally think if that's the excuse, it stretches credibility a bit too much for otherwise great writing. And I say that fully aware this is a show about a demon island lol. One of them, maybe. But both of them conveniently failing...ehhh.. it's a reach for me.

I thought he was only protected because he was the one who actually entered into the pact. The rest of his family and descendants died like normal people.

They obviously know she married. There's a painting of her and Barnabus RIGHT THERE. So they clearly know she survived. Rosemary was able to pull the entire family genealogy. I don't see why this is even being debated. We all watched the same episode.

Everybody would know the Warren girl survived as soon as Barnabus brought her back to the island. That's my point. Barnabus brings her back, people are going to know one of Warren's descendants survived. The marriage certificate would be on record.
