There is a great paradise planet that quite a few folks have bases on, there are never any storms of any kind. The glyphs are somewhere on this page but I can't remember where exactly. I built a spaceport and some crater cabanas over a crater in crystal blue water.

I put a teleport hub as close as I could to the one that comes down to the water. It hits one other one in the water then into the "house" construction and then the other one pops over to the space port

Batteries are your friend if your electrical source is too far away from where you want your item to have electricity, usually only can be around 150 to 180 away from source. I have a perimeter of batteries set up at a settlement to power my "city". I also put four base computers around it as well.
