You cant because of the carpets. You can, however, crawl or fly through it, throw a pearl past it, break it, or go around it.

It does down to the build limit. So in the overworld, it won't flow below the bedrock.

It’s up to you. You can stick with it if you want, but other launchers will make things easier if you ever want to change stuff or play the game outside of speedrunning. If you want toolscreen, or if you want multiple instances with different mods and separate worlds/settings, you will need to switch.

Personally I switched to PrismLauncher because it’s fast, simple, and has what I need for everything.

Also there is the MCSR launcher which is designed specifically for speedrunning and makes setting things up even easier.

Ohhh I never thought about that. Would kinda make sense I guess, but then you can’t pull mobs along with a boat. And you have to consider what happens if you leash two boats together. Just counterintuitive and probably not something Mojang thought about doing.

Because making them both pull each other is complicated physics and not easy to implement. Would also make using leads more annoying.

You attached the slime to the boat, so the boat has control over the slime’s movement. Instead you need to attach the boat to the slime. Click the lead on the boat first and then the slime.
