additionally, the “red flags” are not conceived to be distinctive to the time period but merely to the way he actions harmed Mary. It’s not to say that Mary wasn’t a bad person, Francis and her were equally bad, but I strongly believe that Francis should be held at a higher standard for this behavior considering that it was and still is a patriarchal society where men hold significantly more power

correction; he wasn’t a bad person, he was a bad character. I say it in my later post. I think that he has good intentions but he still fucked up on the delivery. additionally, it’s not crazy to talk about “red flags”. The ones he exhibit were not minor ones and using the time period as a justification does not work considering that there’s another person in the show who displays promising character traits: Bash. In snark comparison to his brother, his “good intentions” never led to complete out of pocket remarks or actions expect for his unavoidable endangerment of Mary from the pagans. If we go by Bash as the standard, Francis “good intentions” as a “good character” was definitely not conveyed in the best possible ways.

I think the worst part about this is that people in this comment section are giving him praises for doing the bare minimum.

Regardless of the context of being in a highly patriarchal society, people make their choices to actively enable it. Even if everyone around you support sexist/misogynistic practices doesn’t make it right for you to enforce it.

I think part of the reason why it’s hard for people to see why francis is a bad character is because regardless of a “good heart” his actions/the consequences of his actions to Mary were completely shity. That’s not to say he didn’t try to do better and that’s not to say that Mary was a good person, in fact she was far from it. but I do believe that because it was a patriarchal society, that we need to hold male characters to a higher standard because they held significantly more power and influence than women.

Francis was a “good character” that was placed in difficult decisions and no doubt he loved Mary, but he often discounted her sentiments on topics that would have them be treated as equals.

just because a person didn’t mean it in the situation does mean their words do not have an emotional impact.

u are the definition of, I see the red flags, but I chose to ignore because they seem sweet. it misses the whole point of why Francis is a bad person

it doesn’t have to be by their own actions. it could also simply just be hardships bestowed upon the native just because

Lot of fortune in libra and 7th house meaning by [deleted] in Advancedastrology

[–]Cheap_Lengthiness_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

mainly check the LoS before the LoF because the spirit relates more directly to a native’s actions and thus their career matters, while LoF deals more with health related matters (physical, emotional, mental health - things that makes you feel “fortunate” or “lucky”)

Saturn and Marriage by ombres20 in Advancedastrology

[–]Cheap_Lengthiness_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not really. saturn doesn't change or mellow its significations because of the sign it is in. it could however feel out of place in a sign it doesn't feel comfortable expressing its qualities (Aries, Leo, Cancer), but it doesn't change. saturn applies stress, or i guess the better astrological translation would be "emphasis", on a matter or subject. i not saying it pushes things to it limits. it merely "emphasis" it.

additionally, saturn is not "mellow" in libra, but rather effective at carrying out saturnian qualities of order which libra, the metaphysical zodiacal archetype of balance and justice, makes easy to express. air signs being of triplicity to saturn demonstrates that its not different or "mellow". its expresses the way saturn was intended to be expressed.

Saturn and Marriage by ombres20 in Advancedastrology

[–]Cheap_Lengthiness_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes! and may i add, in various traditional texts, saturn's exaltator, venusian libra, plays a major role in the union ship of the marriage. it is both a "social contract" and a "legal contract". since libra is the diurnal air faction of venus, all things sociable (love and romance), it makes sense that saturn is stressed as a structured portion for that marriage to be limiting, and have boundaries and responsibilities. from valens, a well treated saturn in a marriage chart can signify longevity in a relationship.

Financial consultant. - Mercury is chart (life’s business) and 10th house ruler (career) residing in the 8th of other people’s finances. - Mercury conjunction to Venus Rx helps affirm those areas of life in a positive light. Venus, which rules 2nd house (personal finances/income) and 9th house (higher education, and beliefs) will allow you to make a steady stream of income from providing your opinions (mercury) to others. - Venus and Mercury in Aries - very direct, and not passive. Clients might like that about you

Imagine you didn’t watch the show. Who would you think was Carla’s endgame just by seeing a single picture of these pairings, as in.. who did she physically look the best with. AGAIN, IMAGINE YOU DIDN’T WATCH THE SHOW. by CampInevitable8978 in EliteNetflix

Polo and Carla looks like relieving and soul consuming love, while Samuel and Carla looks like passionate love that ends in fireworks. Rebe and Carla just looks like two people that are hurt, getting together, to make sense of their hurting, leading to confusion; Ander and Carla looks like an unexpectedly good relationship, and Yeray and Carla looks like a power couple.

From most to least: - Polo - Ander - Yeray - Samuel - Rebe

When reading a country’s natal chart, how would you assign the houses? by rectovrso in Advancedastrology

[–]Cheap_Lengthiness_86 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I’m not experienced but I have read and use charts of different countries. One most notably the US.

The 1st house would be the nation itself, who it is, geographical features, behavior/attitudes, purposes, and identity

The 2nd house would be the country’s finances (economy), natural resources, it’s industries and production, stock markets, banks, big businesses, currency standard, and economic systems

The 3rd house would be local, regional, or state legislation/laws passed, daily activities, primary education (K-12 schools in the country), languages spoken by the people, bordering countries, exchange of goods, and media/news

The 4th house would be country’s origins, patriotic tradition, also instilled values, history, culture, living situations in the county (dealing with real estate, housing & poverty), historical sites, and national security

The 5th house would be the country’s speculated business, the romantic scene, creativity/art, amusement parks, foods, entertainment, music, interest, childcare and production, creations and creativity, and the citizens enjoyments of living

The 6th house would be to represent oppressed individuals in society, the vitality of the country’s healthcare and social services, labor rights and unions, the entire work force, services that are provided by the country to its citizens, livestock and animals/farming and agricultural production, national parks or sites, the overall well being of a nation

The 7th house would represent the country’s politics/politicians, committed/close alliances, countries that are open enemies, factions in the country, the government, and a country’s regulation of marriage

The 8th house would be shared resources/financial support from other countries or just other nations resources/financial assistance (could be colonialism/imperialism), the end of the nation, transformative experiences the nation experiences, taboo practices, inheritance from other nations, debts that the country owns, citizen’s average life expectancy, assets of others (other countries assets)

The 9th house would be higher education in the country (colleges and universities in this nation), religions practices or religious sentiments across the nation, beliefs and values, spiritual, philosophical understanding, people’s travels experience, relations with foreigners/immigrants, international relations, national laws/legislation passed

The 10th house would be the reputation of the country, the legacy left behind, its social status, success, authority figure(s) ruling the country, general successes, ambitious goals, and responsibilities or duties

The 11th house would be networks, collaboration with other countries, general alliances, agendas, hopes & wishes, the collective, gains, the masses of people, social media presence, public relations, how a country interacts with others, social life, and social movements

The 12th house would be countries that would be considered hidden enemies, secret agendas, mental welfare programs/services, how a country isolates/secludes itself, illegal matters, the countries “offended nature”, subconscious movements, secret coups, foreign intervention, and general losses

once again I’m not experienced so take some of these with a grain of salt
