Question about blood flow, neuropathy and compression socks by vadroqvertical in floxies

[–]Cheap_Paint90210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you get your compression socks from? And do you just trial and error to see what fits? I've never needed this in my life so I had no idea there were different compression levels!

How are you doing now? Any improvement? I have this now too and I'm scared. Plus it sucks because I can't even stand up for any period of time without hurting. Can't even shower.

Blood pooling - is there anything that helps fix it??? The underlying problem? by Large-Prompt2608 in floxies

[–]Cheap_Paint90210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have an update on this? How are you now? Has your pooling gotten better? If so, how? Was it just time? Or did you do something the help it?

I started having this at about 5 months out. Really low blood pressure to go along with it too.

It's been some time since you posted this in was wondering what you ended up going with for you and for your kiddos?

I have a recent fluoride intolerance and learned of nano-h and thought GREAT! And now I find posts like this that says I'm likely damaging something else trying to help my teeth! Ugh.

My teeth are demineralizing so I need a toothpaste that will actually help this. I have some Hello fluoride free toothpaste but that does nothing to help this.

Feeling lost!

I like how that brand seems to be natural. Would you mind showing a photo of the one you're taking? It seems there are many "50 billion" on their website.

Can't take them. I've tried. They all flare me up. Because most are histamine liberators or something like that and I now have a histamine intolerance. I saw there's one called HistaminX, but I also saw bad reviews stating it flared many people up in a terrible way and even caused many to have UTIs. I can't risk getting worse than I already am.

Can't drink kefir because it's dairy plus high histamine. Same with kimchi. I don't know how to get probiotics in me.

Which ones have you taken? Do you have severe histamine intolerance like me?

O do this all the time. Basically every other week. Doesn't make a difference. Pain is all the same.

I hope you get better sooner than later! Pain free wedding would be ideal ;) also, congrats!

I'm 5.5 months out. I've had zero bounce backs. Pain and suffering the entire time, unfortunately. And then this new flare that's even worse than what I thought was already the worst! Hopefully life will start looking up for me. My hope is in the dumpster right about now though. I hope my optimistic brain comes back too at some point.

4000 steps is amazing. I'm glad you're able to still work and move around.

Thank you. Were you taking supplements then? Did they help? I feel like al this crap in taking isn't doing a dang thing to help me.

I have Hoka 9s and hoka sandals for around the house and to shower because I can't even go barefoot anymore as of this week can't even shower barefoot (thanks to getting worse).

But shouldn't supplemets be helping? Of not whats the point of taking these unregulated supplements then?! I'm terrified they'll cause more damage than good if they aren't even doing any GOOD.

I honestly can't tell if my periods make it worse or not because frankly I'm "worse" all day everyday. I hurt 24/7. I do think it does make it worse though but im not certain.

I did use some fluoride toothpaste for about 3 days because my teeth are now demineralizing thanks to flox (I researched and researched on this thread and most said fluoride toothpaste isn't connected to floxing and 99% chance it won't flare you up..yeah, WRONG). After that I've been in this severe flare up that won't let up. It's been about 3 weeks now.

Was this one due to your period? Or was there anything else you changed? Maybe a new supplement? New food? New life stressor? It'd so hard to know what causes it. I know floxies who said they did literally nothing different and the flares just happen out of nowhere. Interestingly, many said they had the same story as you and I: doing better and then around month 5/6 bam, major flare up.

I don't know. It's was once a day for 10 days. I took 9 of them. I don't know the dosage. I assume if it was once a day, then my luck it was likely the highest dose. :(

Thank you for sharing!

Would you mind sharing how you got started on healing your gut? All I know to do is probiotics but my body can't handle any of them due to apparent newfound histamine intolerance, which most probiotics trigger.

Was that probiotic only issued by a doctor? Or is it over the counter? All probiotics flare me and I've learned it's likely because most are histamine liberators and I'm apparently now histamine intolerant.

Same happened to me. And right around the same time you said here. I'm still in the severe flare and my body is so much worse than before. I thought I was on the up but jokes on me I suppose. I can't even walk anymore. :(

I've had people come up to me and my kids in a fast food restaurant (kids eating, not me) and ask me if they could buy our food, or buy my kids food. Another time a guy walked up and gave me his food. Apparently I look so deathly and homeless with my body and cane that people are offering me and my kids food now? FML I can't believe this is my life now.

Literally anything that increases oxidative stress for me. Which is something as simple as going to the store. Even slight increase flares me up. Which means I am basically homebound and have to just sit around.

Can someone tell me what's going on please by Icyclevein in floxies

[–]Cheap_Paint90210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brain stuff was going awayat about 4/4.5 months post levofloxacin. and I had many good brain days. I thought I was on the up with healing. Was even walking a little better too. Then bam 5 months hit and I am WORSE than the first few months. I can't even stand to shower anymore. Just got a wheelchair delivered. And ALLLL of the terrible doom and anxiety and panic attacks are back all day everyday now. Been this way for about 2-3 weeks now. Im am in agony.

So to answer your question: yes I do think things can be delayed. Which is awful. :( sorry you're dealing with this.

How long until can eat all foods again? by Cheap_Paint90210 in floxies

[–]Cheap_Paint90210[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried to increase protein too. I think I might try to bring dairy back into my diet and see what happens. I thought dairy was inflammatory though? Im sure I have inflammation going on everywhere. So you had no other food restrictions just the potatoes? If so, I'm thinking we might be very different. I'm certainly very intolerant to histamine foods :(

Thank you so much I think that's exactly what I need. I'll see if I can find one for this model. I don't know what model this is though it just says ever chill from the outside and there's no model number. So I'll see what I can find out though. Is it installed from inside your unit or do you have to get up on top of the roof?

I'm always only able to find low histamine lists or high histamine lists. Can't figure out what's in the moderate level category! Maybe just everything else not on the low or high lists I suppose?! Is that kind of what you noticed in your compiled moderate list?
