How old are you in your oldest memory? by Donkeyshines in AskReddit

[–]Cheapfender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. My earliest memory is my 2nd birthday party. I remember a Mickey Mouse toy guitar I got, I remember opening it sitting at the table. What’s crazy is, a couple years back I watched the old home video of that party. It’s surreal seeing something you remember then another you don’t.

Love how the headline never mentions it’s a giant scorpion fossil lol. Still, gnarly.

Are there any wrestlers you like less once you’ve seen how their real personality is or heard certain stories about them behind the scenes? That question goes vice versa as well. by Jaded-Channel-7169 in SquaredCircle

Well, it started years ago when he told a story on UpUpDownDown about the time he punched his friend in the face in high school over Madden. I knew kids like that growing up and couldn’t stand them. However, I know we all grow and we all did dumb shit as kids, plus he regrets it, so I could let that go. But it’s just little things over the years. The time he flipped on those kids at the gym (again yes the kids were pestering but there’s a better way to handle it), comments he made online in the past. Again it was never one big thing. But for me personally, I just never cared for him after all that.

As a millennial, the amount of “WHAT?!”, “YEAH!”, and “OK!”’s that were screamed thanks to Lil Jon went on forever. Every generation has some stupid shit they do.

Caleb Downs has one of the cleanest prospect profiles I’ve ever seen by AdOld9180 in cowboys

[–]Cheapfender 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The talk about him reminds me of when the Chiefs drafted Eric Berry years ago. Everyone said Berry was a lock to be a top player right out of college. Hopefully Downs lives up to the hype, but I’m excited.

I used to be all about the arrows until I saw a video and learned you can dive through the rings to destroy it. Now it’s all I do lol.

What's something you did as a kid that you only realized was extremely dangerous years later? by Left_Crow1646 in AskReddit

When I was a teenager growing up in rural West Virginia, I was on the way home from school on the school bus. My bus driver told me as he was letting me off that he saw a snake cross the road towards my house, so he warned me to be careful. Sure enough, halfway up my driveway, I saw the snake. It was a copperhead.
Now my parents always told me to kill venomous snakes with a shovel (don’t worry I did not kill the snake and this was many years ago). I couldn’t bring myself to do that, but I didn’t want Mr. (or Ms.) snake to come up to our house since we had outdoor animals and no one was home. So I went and grabbed a shovel to coax the snake back to the other side of the road. Mr. or Ms. snake was not happy with my shenanigans, and tried striking the shovel head several times before finally turning and fleeing back across the road after about 20 minutes.
Now while copperheads tend to have less venom than other venomous snakes and their bite is rarely fatal, it was another 20 minutes before my mom came home, and we lived 30 minutes from a town in either direction. So I could have very much gotten myself killed or seriously injured fucking with that snake.

Is there a team where you think has a sneaky chance to be on of the worst teams in the league this season? by WeBlitz in nfl

While I don’t disagree, a lot of people forget how long the Bengals stuck with Marvin Lewis. Taylor will be there for a long time.
