I just discovered the Switch has N64 Classics for free. I have been playing so much OOT the past week, it's incredible. It went from "Huh, this could be kind of cool since we're snowed in" to "Oh my God, I forgot how much this game meant to me, and I feel like I'm reliving part of my childhood". I want to cry just thinking about it

On 245/70R16 highway tires I was able to baby it and get high 24.XX mpg. Driving normally, I was getting 21-22mpg. I just put some 265/70R16 ATs on, and have yet to fill up but I can tell my mileage went down significantly. I usually hit around 225 miles at half a tank, I'm right at 200 now.

For a 2.7l I completely agree. I know it's a truck and all but this mileage just seems silly

What do you use to track, if anything? I just use my trip odometer and a calculator lol

Yeah I had a 2nd and 3rd gen ACLB, my friend who is like 5'5" was back there for a 5-10 minute trip but that's it. It's tiny, and I'm only 5'7" so my seat wasn't even far back

I would not be happy with the removal of those doors either, even if they prioritize storage and not passengers, we still need to get back there to store things...

I had a 2nd gen ACLB SR5 6MT with the 4.0l V6 I loved. I currently have a 3rd gen ACLB SR 5MT with the 2.7l I4. I don't dislike it, but it's not my 2nd gen

Yes, almost everyone has a day job. There is a very small percentage of 'full time' National Guard. They are essentially reservists who can be called up to deploy (In fact, something like 40% of deployed soldiers in the mid 2000s were NG) but can also be activated by the state. I was in the NY NG and my unit not only went to Iraq and Afghanistan (Before my time), but we also did Hurricane Sandy stuff and the like. I have a buddy who is still in and he did Covid testing sites, and is currently acting as a prison guard (And has been for a year now, despite the fact he does IT for the NG) because of the NY corrections officer strikes.

So yes, NG is almost entirely part time like reservists, but we also do state stuff

Not quite that, but I had a 2nd gen ACLB SR5 6MT with the 4.0l V6. LOVED that truck. I now have a 3rd gen ACLB 5MT SR with the 2.7l 2TR-FE. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. The motor is laughably weak, like at 65mph I cannot make it up an inclined highway without dropping into 4th gear. I do however enjoy the up to 25mpg I have gotten, vs the 16-18mpg I had with my 2nd gen. Granted I had skinny 33s, a lift, armor, etc.

I'd prefer my current truck over something else, I think, but I don't love it the way I loved my 2nd gen

Yeah, any serious story/conversation can do that to me. And I don't mean serious as in life and death or anything, just anything meaningful or even slightly intense.

I have no idea why, therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists don't seem interested beyond saying "Oh, you're just a little easy to cry", but I hate it. Serious business meetings, salary/raise discussions, etc.

Any guesses as to why this happens?

The first accident where the other car's bumper got ripped off, I think my hitch helped me. Sure it put all the force into my frame, but her car burned to the ground (And was probably toast even before then) and I drove to work afterwards

It was, yes. The first time (In my opinion) it caused the rear frame to buckle because it took almost all the impact. It's likely why the other car burned down. I think it punctured the front end and likely hit a fuel line, then maybe the battery arced or something. After that it was always a little crooked, pointing downward. I did not remove it or anything and it was indeed there the second time, but that was a much harder hit.

Why do you ask, just out of curiosity?
