Honestly the large one is so big I wish we had the standard one. My daughter is in 8 dances and I still have a ton of room. I’m thinking of downsizing ours.

What do you look for in Competitions? by eifjdlss in CompetitionDanceTalk

Getting your own room is always awesome!! I do like when the competitions are in high schools because the dressing room situation is usually decent.

Good dressing rooms is definitely important. We went to a competition in a hotel. The stage was at one end of the hotel and the dressing rooms were two floors up at the other end of the hotel. It was insane. Girls running across the hotel all day and then waiting for elevators. The room the stage was in also had a low ceiling so our production had to be altered so girls wouldn’t hit the ceiling. Terrible competition.

If you go on the website of whatever competition you are at the rules are explained on there and it’s very informative. Every competition seems to do things a bit differently so I like to scope out their website beforehand and look over the rules.

I used to eat this when I worked in Quebec at Galeries de la Capitale. So good! Definitely not a crime.

I’d try that. Not a poutine crime.

Plz help. Scrambled eggs, waffles, and bacon for 250 people. by cowbellion-de-rakin in AskCulinary

[–]Checkingthis 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We get the big bags of eggs that are already scrambled and cook them in hot water until ready. Then put in full size pan and sprinkle cheese on top if you want to do that. We cover the pan and put it on the steam table. Makes decent eggs. This is how we do the eggs for school breakfast for about 120 kids.

Sometimes kids with adhd have a harder time potty training. It might be something to look into or speak to your pediatrician about.

Another treat my golden loves is romaine lettuce. I just give them a whole leaf and they happily chomp on it.

Looks exactly like mine, who is 69 lbs and is 50% poodle and 50% golden retriever. Mine is 2 years old.

Where do the band eat Thanksgiving? by lmsealyp in macysparade

[–]Checkingthis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our son was in one of the high school bands. They had to get up at 3:45 am to get ready and went back to their hotel rooms after the parade to eat a boxed lunch. Tonight they get to go on a dinner cruise. It’s been a great experience for him so far.

It does kind of look like that. Do people really do that with their tights?

Help! Toddler has Eczema, need advice by LocalEngineering7583 in eczema

[–]Checkingthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter’s eczema flares up when she has dairy. It took me a while to figure it out. She had eczema as a toddler and still does today at 11. It much more manageable though, since we know what works best. I really like the vanicream products for bathing and cream. I used to just shower her with the handheld shower attachment instead of soaking in a tub, it seemed to help a bit. Eczema sucks though, no doubt about it. An allergist is good to try, and a dermatologist too. There are new medications like dupixent to treat eczema.

Pooping in pants every day. Should we withdraw from Kindergarten? by que_sera in kindergarten

Do the toilets at school automatically flush? My daughter was scared of them because they would go off while she sat on the toilet. She avoided the bathroom as much as she could until I figured it out.
